Right now I got a Peel case, ESR kickstand, Plum MagSafe and last night I ordered the Baltic Blue leather case.

While I like the d brand grip, my main issue is it’s so grippy on the sites that lint and dust really sticks to it. Back to the sheath for overall the best case I use.
I will not get the dBrand Grip. I would rather us the Rhinoshield.
But then this time round I will just get the skins from dBrand and use the leather sleeve from Apple. However. I will probably get them early Jan or so.
Will use a case for 2 to 3 months at least.
Then I will start to use skins and the sleeve.
Just checked my case. It looks fine. If you are not comfortable, you can go to the Apple store tomorrow to have it exchanged.

I for one have to carry my drivers license and military ID; neither are available in digital form. Only a few US states have even started to roll out digital IDs/DLs. There are also quite a few small businesses that don't accept digital payments yet. I was even at a Costco a few weeks ago that required my membership card to buy gas--the fob or digital wasn't available yet.
I have the same issue. Bought it a couple of hours ago and opened the box to see this... Quite annoys me, tbh... Maybe I am too picky, but at that price I was expecting apple to pick a “clean” piece of leather, if they want to charge over 60€ for it... Am now on my way to try and return it, will update...I’ve got the Apple black leather case but I can see some stripes on it? Only in a certain light. Not sure if to return for a replacement? Not sure you can see in the pic? Anyone else got this?
Apple is typically very cool about letting you find one you're happy with before leaving. I had once instance where my leather case didn't quite fit right and had to drive back to return it so any time I'm in there buying a leather case (usually at least once per year) I have it out of the box and on my phone for a full inspection before ponying up the card. Not sure how this would work in our current world, though.
Any Apple leather cases I go into Best Buy, open the packages and make sure I get a nice one without the tiger stripes.
Replaced it with no issue... Happy now...

I guess you’ll know when you get the phone but does the case feel grippy to hold?
My black Apple leather case came in today. First impression is that it definitely doesn’t smell as good as the Nomad, but I’ll reserve any final opinions until I receive my mini.
Are the cutouts on the bottom asymmetrical or symmetrical on these latest Dbrand Grip cases?
