Im going to ditch Baltic Blue Leather in favour of silicone case. Them port opening at the bottom are killing my pinky. Edges are quite sharp.

Returned my black leather and plum silicone, and cancelled my MagSafe wallets. Back in my cheap Amazon clear case which is actually great. Have the spigen tough armor, speck presidio2 pro and a pu wallet folio coming. Plan is to narrow down to two and be done with this year’s case hunt. That should give me about 9 months of not thinking about something I shouldn’t have to think about lol.

That was the main reason I returned my plum silicone awhile back, but thinking about grabbing another one and giving it a second chance with a different color. Is the charging port ring better on the silicone than the leather?

Has anyone ever tried one of these cases? The prices are insane though.

I poked around a bit on those, price$ seem to reflect popularity on social media. The Ultra corners are too pronounced for me, and I'm generally looking for all black and these looked to me to have skin inserts on the backs.

Totally agree. I mean even with the sale the prices are insane. I don't know anyone that has owned one but figured I would post up here about them.

My better half is using plum silicone case on her pro and i find it more comfortable to hold rest on my finger. Leather edges are sharp compared to silicone.

I’ve been looking at the Duo. Any gripes? Sag? Does it work fine with a screen protector?
No sag at all. I have the full screen esr tempered glass and works fine.

Only concern is going to be if the soft touch is as much a finger print magnet as the Specks.

The duo is currently on sale at Verizon for $22.

Which speck was the fingerprint magnet? I have a presidio2 pro on the way...

Thanks. I appreciate the help! I’ve been eyeballing the gray/volt on their website.

I tried the presidio 2 grip. The material was very prone in my experience
Thanks. Yeah I had the old grip with the rubber. I liked that case, but haven’t tried the new ones where it’s all the same material.

Thanks! Think I am going to give the silicone another try. Will probably get deep navy this time.

Sal, out of all the cases which one do you like best so far?

To be honest i haven’t tried many third party cases this year. Its all been Apple cases for me so far and out of them black, plum and navy silicone are my favourite (keeping them all). As much as i like metal shiny buttons on Baltic Blue and Saddle Brown I don’t get that premium leather feel compared to previous offerings. I have Evutec Karbon and UAG civilian sat in my Amazon basket.

I've tried several cases for my iPhone 12 mini but really haven't found the perfect one. I also really value MagSafe, so that narrows down my options

1. Apple Silicone Case-this has been the best of the bunch so far, my biggest problem with it is that it occasionally one of the corners will pop out, plus because the edges are exposed, I wonder if debris would accumulate between the case and the phone
2. Otterbox Symmetry w/ MagSafe- lifted my ESR screen protector even though it was completely centered.
3. Tech21 Evo Check - too slippery and didn't like the removable buttons.
4. Caudabe Sheath - didn't fit well (bulged out on sides)

Right now I'm using the silicone case, as it's been my favorite so far, but I wish I could find something a little better!

Does the Duo and Presidio2 have the same or similar soft touch rubber feel on the outside ?

I would recommend one of these. Very good fit and not very pricey.

Looking at the review of the TORRAS, it looks like it has similar fitment issues that the Sheath did. I also find clear TPU slippery. Thank you for the recommendations though!

FWIW, the Torras I got has no fitment issues. The phone sits securely in the case and the case feels great in hand. Someone on here recommended the RhinoShield a couple of days ago. Looks like Amazon still has it on sale.
