Seems to be similar. There are definitely marks on my duo, but they seem to come off easier than the presidio.
How do the buttons feel on the duo and presidio ? Do both cases work fine with magsafe/wireless charging ?

I've tried several cases for my iPhone 12 mini but really haven't found the perfect one. I also really value MagSafe, so that narrows down my options

1. Apple Silicone Case-this has been the best of the bunch so far, my biggest problem with it is that it occasionally one of the corners will pop out, plus because the edges are exposed, I wonder if debris would accumulate between the case and the phone
2. Otterbox Symmetry w/ MagSafe- lifted my ESR screen protector even though it was completely centered.
3. Tech21 Evo Check - too slippery and didn't like the removable buttons.
4. Caudabe Sheath - didn't fit well (bulged out on sides)

Right now I'm using the silicone case, as it's been my favorite so far, but I wish I could find something a little better!
The Caudabe fit problem is a known issue with them and they're shipping out free replacements if you contact their support. Does the MagSafe piece on the Otterbox feel secure? On the reviews for their other MagSafe cases there are complaints that the white magnetic card in there isn‘t attached well and comes loose when taking the case on and off.

First I ordered a Smartish Kung Fu grip case in blue before the iPhone 12 pro max was even released. Once the phone arrived and I installed the screen protector, I put the case on and found terrible button action just like the other posters had said. It also pushed on my screen protector and created some bubbles. I’ve since contacted them and have a new one on the way, for free which is nice. I ordered some new screen protectors too.

In the meantime I ordered a Caudabe Sheath in black(would have preferred grey, but it was out of stock).

Buuuut since that hasn’t even shipped yet, I decided to give the Ringke Onyx a try and it’s pretty awesome. I went with a dark grey one and my only complaint is a slightly saggy lip on the bottom near the lightning port.

Just wanted to post an update here.

1. The replacement Smartish case arrived and has the EXACT same problems as the original one I ordered: Dead buttons and the lip around the screen interferes with my screw-in protector. I guess I’m not buying these anymore.

2. Black Caudabe Sheath arrived on Friday and it’s actually awesome. A little softer than I was expecting it to be but not sticky like silicone or rubber. Very nice fit and no noticeable sag near the speakers or lightning port. Buttons are ok to good; very low profile with enough of click feel to know when you pressed a button. I’ve got a grey one on the way now. :D

3. Ringke Onyx is still a great case with quite possibly the best buttons I’ve ever felt on a case. The “feet” on the back help prevent some rocking but not all. The foot on the top corner opposite of the camera either needs to be a tiny bit taller or the camera lip needs to be shorter. Either way this isn’t a deal breaker for me.

4. Quadlock - I expect this case to be just like all my other quadlock cases. It’ll just be used when I’m cycling. I’ll update again once this is received.

The spigen liquid is growing on me. The fit is fantastic and it just feels really solid.

My favourite case for the Xr was a humixx clear case so I ordered one for the 12. It does not disappoint.

I do want a spigen thin fit when they’re available in blue here but I think with the ESR, Spigen and Humixx I’m pretty much happy with the cases I have now.

CarbonThat.

Couldn't pick between a gloss or matte finish to the case. So I got both for the iPhone 12 Pro.

1) Carbon Edition (gloss) - a much lighter, beautiful and cheaper case than Mous, has a very pronounce carbon fiber weave that bends in the light, with what I believe is TPU edges. Looking at the weave on the back of the case is just stunning.

2) Kevlar Edition (matte) - a more secure and also cheaper case alternative to Pitaka's AirCase (same material) as this one covers the top and bottom too, plus the sides are fully enclosed also. This has a really good feel to it, you can feel the weave.

More than happy to shoot more photos if anyone likes to know more.

Like that. Looks a LOT like my Evutec; the matte one.

I've attached some, I'm a terrible photographer. 😅

I believe the Evutec has a aramid back but with TPU sides. CarbonThat's Kevlar edition is completely aramid, no other material in it. It's so light!

Interested in the Kevlar because it covers the bottom and top

This is actually what drew me to them, much more secure.

Everyone else seems to have the exposed top and bottom (pitaka, latercase), and even around the buttons on the sides, making those cases more of a aesthetic accessory that protection.

I am in Australia where they are based, great cases have the watch case too. Havn't got one for my 12 yet was just looking this morning lol, had the one on the left for my 11 pro but came in a matt back like the one on right, see now they only have what you have.
They have a great chat service on their website too.

The gloss will be better for fingerprint smudges? My only fault with matt back.

I just did a fingerprint test for you.

I put 2 fingers on the case for 1-2 secs each.

The Gloss back does have some fingerprints showing, BUT you have to really angle it into the light to see it, front on, I see nothing. The glossy finish seems to overpower any fingerprints tbh haha.

The Matte back, has Zero fingerprints.

Can't go wrong with either.

I’m sure I know the answer, but is there any front lip on the matte case? I really like that it covers the top and bottom unlike most carbon fiber cases.

Also, I’d love to see the cases on the phone at some point, but I also understand if your phone is your only camera. Thanks for all the pictures so far!

Unless there is micro debris on the phone that is scratching the soft case when inserting and removing, the phone, in and of itself shouldn’t be scratching the case ( I wouldn’t think).

Another possible Robert theory is that what you are seeing on the case are micro tears within the case material caused by expansion of the case when inserting and removing the phone. Said micro tears can also look like scratches. If that isn’t it, I don’t know. Lol

This is the Caudabe Clear case, not the Sheath though I did get both. The PBPM rim scratches the inside of the clear case.

I bought this case immediately after my online order. It's a bit different, but I love the camera cover. It comes in Black, blue and green. $15.00. It feels as good as any case I've owned for prior phones.

Hey, I wouldn't rely on the the tiny tiny lip that helps the case latch on the phone, probably get a screen protector. You can see in the photo, the slight curve. (I assume you knew this! haha)

They should pay me! But nah, they've helped me big time when I stuffed up an order, and since then just be very grateful for their assistance. They are a small team in Australia, so I wanted to support them the best I can, since most small businesses are probably doing it tough at the moment.
