Guess who still hasn't received his Sheath that was ordered on November 27. I don't remember how long my Sheath orders took for my previous iPhone, but this seems unusually long (I'm in Illinois). As I wrote previously, I still haven't opened my box yet (in fact, it's still in the UPS package) because I was waiting for my case to arrive. Well, it's been sitting "in transit" for days now, so I'm guessing the Pony Express is back in business.
I might have to stop by Best Buy tonight and pick up a temporary case, which I was trying to avoid having to do.

Wow, something’s not right there. I ordered a second Sheath on Cyber Monday and both it and the redesigned black Sheath they were sending a replacement for shipped last Thursday and arrived on Monday (separate packages).

Their support is really good, so you should definitely reach out to them and let them know yours may have been lost in transit. I recently had a Speck case disappear in transit and they shipped a replacement that should arrive in a few days, so it does happen. Oh, and I’m in Kentucky, so it definitely shouldn’t take this long to get to you in Illinois.

I hope you don't open the UPS box and it's a chunk of concrete.

Just received my lucid clear today. It’s definitely slippery and takes some getting used to. It does show fingerprints but they easily wipe away. I’ve bought a few clear cases and so far this is my favorite one. I like the slim profile and it feels like a quality case. I also bought a Sheath too (which I love) so I’ll be switching between the two.

Just a heads up, if you switch very often, the Lucid Clear will get scratched on the inside by the phone or if you have the stainless steel silver phone, the case will scratch the stainless steel band. Putting the phone in from the bottom will minimize the scratching inside the case a little. They will replace the case though if you contact them.

Anyone have the Smartish Gripzilla? I am a Defender guy but looking at other options. Grip and protection are most important

I got one for the 12 Pro Max before I decided I wanted the regular 12 instead, so I can’t speak for how it feels on the phone, but something about whatever it’s made of is oddly loud when swiping from the edge, to the point where I returned it and didn’t order another when I actually got my phone. It was certainly grippy though.

That’s weird, thanks for your feedback

Branding indicates that a company stands behind their product and/or cares enough about the product to make some modification and mark on it. Consumers generally perceive this favorably, and we adjust our expectations which seems to broadly reduce price elasticity. So we’ll pay marginally more for a product we consider marginally more favorable.

Not true in the slightest.

Thanks for the heads up! I’m back to using the Sheath. The bottom corners of the Lucid Clear (where the cut outs are) feel a little rough and sharp so I’ve contacted them for a replacement. Did you have this issue with your case?

Dude it's not a fragile snowflake. Open that bad boy up and enjoy the true form before it gets covered.

Well, another reason why I haven't opened the box yet is because I've been really busy. My brother is moving, so I've been helping him pack and move. I plan on using the new phone tonight, case or no case.
I agree with you about enjoying its true form. I don't think any phone feels as good as a naked iPhone. I've been using my XS Max without a case on it because I'm taking it to the Apple Store (I'm getting its battery replaced and giving it to my dad).
