I want to get a lanyard for my phone.
For those of you with a Gripzilla case or (any other case with lanyard holes), if you use a lanyard, what kind of lanyard do you use, and how do you attach it to your case?
Split ring? Mini carabiner?

So with Otterbox ruled out, what is a decent protective case?
Depends who you ask.
I have a Lifeproof "See" case that I like a lot, very nicely made, attractive, but I can't shake the feeling that it's going to slip out of my shirt or jacket pocket or my fingers.
It has a somewhat grippy texture around the perimeter, but doesn't feel quite grippy enough.
Going to try a Gripzilla.
Good reviews, reasonable price, easily returnable if unacceptable (@ Amazon).

I’m assuming any lanyard off of Amazon would work. I think there are different lengths as well. The majority of lanyards I’ve seen are looped through itself. ??‍♂️

Thanks. Has anyone tried the Nomad's this year? How about the new Sport ones. Looks cool, but also slippery.

I have the Nomad and I really enjoy it. The openings on the bottom used to bother me but they’re perfectly comfortable this year. I think the meld of the charcoal and brown is a really classy look, too.

I notice the iPhone 13 PhoneRebel cases are now available to order.

Not worth it for those of us in Oceania as shipping is more than the case… ☹️

Which Nomad do you have? The leather one or the sport?

A word of caution. Don’t go by the stock pictures on that marine blue color. I ordered the marine blue watch band the moment it was available and couldn’t have been more disappointed when I opened the box.

It’s much, much lighter than the stock pictures on the website show. It looks a lot darker on the website, but in reality it’s more of a Carolina Blue. I never even removed it from the packaging and initiated a return within 15 minutes of receiving it. I’d been waiting like 3 months for the blue to be available and was so excited to get it only to be disappointed.

I’m going to assume the marine blue sport case is the same way, that the color is much lighter blue than it looks on the website.

My 13 Pro Max (Sierra Blue) is due to land with me tomorrow; so I've had a few cases land with me today and the screen protectors, so I can get them fitted as soon as I remove it from its box ;)

I've gone for the Spigen Tough Armor in red:

I've also gone for the Ringke Fusion/X in clear/black:

I've got Tauri tempered glass screen protectors & camera lens protectors also

Yeah that is kind of killing it for me with the glossy back.

Another issue I find with the Nomad Sport case is the back has a strong static cling effect. I'm in deep winter right now in Northern Michigan (low humidity) and lint, pet hair, etc is attracted to this case and sticks horribly.

Just ordered the Nomad Sport case, in lunar grey though. Closest thing I'll find to a quality white mag safe case I think. Plus, I actually like the look of the glossy back. Have always loved the white case + black phone "storm trooper" combo.

I would pay a large sum of money if Speck brought this case back:

I have the black Speck Presidio Grip case for my 13 Pro and it's a far cry from the above. In 2 years, they managed to ruin what made those cases great. From rubber grips, to plastic grips last year, to now just inverted grooves on the back. I get they had to do that to make the back flat for magsafe, but at least offer a non magsafe candy shell version still.

Awesome. I may need to get one. Know of a coupon code that works? The ones that I have tried so far are a no go.
Let me see if I can find something in my email.

Edit: the last discount I saw was for Black Friday. Nothing from Nomad since. Here’s 10% for Supcase though!
