Bought a Bullstrap while it was on sale (looks like another sale started). Took less than a week to arrive (ordered Monday and arrived today). Out of the box, first impressions. Really nice packaging, leather smells really good and is of high quality. Loving the camera wrap in leather.
I do notice that the four corners have a different texture of leather, not sure if that's intended but it's on all four corners so it doesn't raise any red flags. Slippery out of the box, but interesting to see the grip develop over the upcoming days.

this is from vaja cases. nice strong magnetic closure on the cover. strong MagSafe magnet on back. good face protection if the phone ever drops with the cover open. i like that this isn't a leather cover with a plastic case glued to it like many other folios. beautiful grained leather. iv'e been ordering from vaja even before the first iPhone came out. they used to make cases for the sony clie line. like 20 years ago. older than most of you i'm guessing lol.

Wow my first vaja was for the Motorola Razr…. I’m curious how well the Apple wallet holds on to the folio
I’ve been using the midnight Apple leather case with my SB pro max for almost 3 months now and love it. The dark blue midnight with the space black phone is such a nice combo
i don’t have a wallet but the MagSafe magnet on the folio is the same strength as far as i can tell as the apple leather case
For my 12PM, I got an apple leather case. The first time I dropped it, the screen cracked. I was pretty disappointed. For my 14PM, I have a ”LOHASIC” cheapo fake leather and gold bling case from amazon. It’s clunky, and pretty ridiculous looking, but you know what? I’ve dropped the phone on concrete several times, not even a scratch. The fake gold color is coming off the trim of the case, but big deal.
Crimson Sheath just arrived. Probably the best “red” case for the iPhone 14 Pro.

Hmm surprisingly I hadn’t seen any recent updates from Nomad, and then last week I unexpectedly got a shipping notice from FedEx. I had been in contact with Chloë at Nomad a while ago pertaining to shipping both my items together though (I had ordered them at different times).

Day 1 using the Rugged case, impressions:
- The orange gets a lot of looks from other people
- Really pleasantly surprised how light the case is
- The feel and handling are really good, particularly the back plate of the case… so smooth feeling
- The lip isn’t very pronounced. To borrow a phrase from Flossy Carter, not sure it’s “slam-boy certified” as it doesn’t have much “raisivity”.
- It adds some bulk of course, but minimally enough that it could be my new daily, not just for demanding situations
Really happy with this case.
Ooh, I haven’t charged the phone at all yet with this case on. Now that you brought that up: I am surprised to be able to see a visible imprint on the Synthesis case actually, that’s visible under certain lighting.
