I received one like that as well and mentioned my sheath is perfect and they said it’s the build of the case and just a different feel of buttons. I’ve also seen a video where a guy mentioned the same thing about the buttons being mushy just on volume up and down. So “different feel of buttons” definitely doesn’t seem right and of course it took them almost a week to respond.
I have mentioned my Sheath in the email. The button's on that are perfect so I'll expect a similar reply to what you got. If they don't agree to replace it I'll just return it as I can't use it the way it is. Thanks
Exactly what I did as well! And I saw someone else online who posted a video and said the same exact thing only about the volume up and down buttons and I’m using you as a reference as well actually because I feel they were saying that it’s just me feeling this way if someone had it they’d be fine with it “subjective”.

Hey everyone! I won a Christmas giveaway that @TechnicallyTee was doing last night, and I won the Caudabe Synthesis in blue! I have a crimson and a black sheath, so I’m no stranger to Caudabe cases, but I haven’t tried the synthesis yet, so I’m pretty excited for that one to come in. I’ve also been considering getting an Apple leather case in midnight or the ink color way for my SB 14 PM, but having a hard time stomaching the $59 price tag. Is it worth it? Any input would be much appreciated!
Still in my black Caudabe Sheath. I've been using it about 98% of the time since I received my iPhone 14 Pro on launch day. Tried the Apple silicone cases and the Nomad Modern Leather case this year. Always, always come back to the Sheath. Nothing out there even catches my attention really. Still looking forward to my orange Nomad Rugged case though.
Not really on my unit. Maybe if I had a brand new one to compare with. Mine still looks basically new!
I love my Ink apple leather case, paired with my space black, but the price is hard to stomach, I agree. It looks gorgeous out in the sun, and the fitment on mine is faultless. I only intend to use it when I know I’ll have consecutive days off work, and I won’t be out and about much on foot.
I have the Caudabe Synthesis and Nomad Rugged for more “protection-demanding” usage occasions.
Decided to try this Andar Aspen case…. WOW - fit is amazing, smell of the leather / quality of the leather is not even close…
It should also age nicely with Patina! 😎
I have the midnight leather case and love it! It's a nice dark blue in the sun/well-lit conditions and looks really nice with the SB phone.
Phone rebel gen 4 arrived. It is a very nice case for sure! Buttons are the best I’ve experienced in any case, details are really well done! My only issue is the front left side especially the top left corner droops out and slightly exposes the stainless steel while the right side is perfect tight fitment. Is this a known issue? I’ll reach out to them otherwise a stellar case for sure!

Didn't have this issue, but the aramid fibre plate on mine was detached up by the camera. I was able to press it back down and it stuck, but it was not flush with the sides like the rest of the aramid fibre. I think that it wasn't properly cut, so I sent it back.Phone rebel gen 4 arrived. Did you give another one a chance? I ordered it from Amazon. So there’s no replacement. I would just have to buy and return this one. I do like this case.
those Casely cases (sounds kinda weird to say that three times fast) always catch my eye, but I've never pulled the trigger yet. I'll be interested to hear what you think of them.
I may order another one. I also ordered on Amazon. Right now the shipping is two weeks out, so I think I will just wait and use my dbrand in the meantime.
I had one on my 12PM and was super happy with it! I’m just a sucker for the few mountain/sky designs they have lol
