Day 1 using the Rugged case, impressions:
- The orange gets a lot of looks from other people
- Really pleasantly surprised how light the case is
- The feel and handling are really good, particularly the back plate of the case… so smooth feeling
- The lip isn’t very pronounced. To borrow a phrase from Flossy Carter, not sure it’s “slam-boy certified” as it doesn’t have much “raisivity”.
- It adds some bulk of course, but minimally enough that it could be my new daily, not just for demanding situations

Really happy with this case.

Mine came yesterday as well. I agree with you 100%! Also, the buttons are actually quite good on this case! A nice surprise coming from Nomad I must say!

I’m now just a Caudabe owner after selling gen 4s, specks, Ryan London and a few others. I just love the cleanliness of the Caudabe cases so I now just jump between the sheath and Sythesis of varying colours. Just got the Cretanbulls to sell now..::

I’ve purchased these so far - zagg Santa Cruz snap, catalyst influence, speck presidio 2 grip, benks mag clap pro 2, pure gear clear.

Pros for each.
Benks - It has the tightest fit, best buttons and smallest cut outs.
Catalyst - Speaker routing to the front, very solid.
Speck - Very solid.
Zagg - clear.
Puregear - It was $12.

Benks is likely my favorite and it’s definitely the highest quality.

I like the case! Wish I could get my hands on one. No more oreorders
It is a really nice case. The only cons I have are the symmetrical cutouts, the orange power button is made from some really cheap looking gumball machine plastic and no orange volume buttons.

Just looked and it's still showing preorders, ships in January.

Kind of annoyed that mine will ship on the 19th, considering that I preordered it several hours before they formally announced it via email..

Thx. Wasn't available this morning! If you get tired of yours, I'm interested in buying. Haha ;)

Are the sides near buttons and top and bottom tight , or does it pull easy like the symmetry etc … I’m hoping it’s tight like the casetify cases
The sides top and bottom are nice and tight. The back lays nice and flat with no rocking at all. No fingerprints showing on the back either. I might look into other colors for this case.

So Cal
I can confirm this info as I have had mine since Saturday.
the only thing i’m worried about are the reports that say it doesn’t offer much screen protection. is it like apple’s cases with barely a lip? and how’s the camera protection?

I’m not concerned per se, but it’s *very little* lip protection. As in, substantially less than Caudabe and Otterbox Symmetry. Probably on-par with my apple leather case I’d guesstimate.

Would be tempted to add this in a blue if they ever do that colour for the Rugged.

Just got my Caudabe Synthesis for my 14 pro max and have to say I’m disappointed. The buttons on the volume up and down are awful. Very mushy. Is this like that on your Synthesis’s?

Nope. I have a black synthesis for my 14 PM and the buttons are perfectly tactile and clicky.
