Does the back scratch real easy on the black Symmetry + case?

I have oe
yeah, i am liking it. i have the pro max phone and always like having a grip. so i have a MagSafe pop socket, a MagSafe love handle and a MagSafe MagOne and i switch off between them. i don’t like them on my phone though. its minor, but always a hassle when i want to charge or use a camera shutter grip i have. just having to take the grip off bothers me. and they all add bulk. and slide around. now its built in, works well and is really comfortable. the case really looks nice and is compact.

Assume you are speaking of the Ottergrip case?

I have a bunch of these cases - and have been a part of the conversations on these for the past few models - and I find a few things very subjective in the comments.

First - How Slippery - I don't have the largest hands, and gripping the PM phone has never been an issue. Very few cases have I ever found "slippery". With that said, I like some grip or something on the sides, but none have had that outside of the Dbrand Grip and Catalyst. As some compare them to wet bars of soap, I have never had that. The closest is when my hands are really dry in the winter air. I have used the Rebel as my everyday case for the past few years, and it has never dropped or slipped out of my hands. Same for the Mous or any other some refer to as that.

The second is the fingerprints. Unless I eat something greasy, I have had no issues with the carbon fiber cases and fingerprints. My fiancée, on the other hand - her hands are naturally more oily, and everything she touches leaves prints. If your hands are like this, you will find that most cases leave prints.

I think if you typically find your glass has a lot of residue left on it after taking drinks, you will find cases are going to have fingerprints left and will feel more slippery.
Out of the Mous cases which design did you prefer/have you used? Armand Fibre?

I have used the Aramid Fiber case for Mous. I think this years is the best version they have made. I still rock my Phone Rebel case most everyday. I do like the Catalyst case as well. I use Mag-Safe in my vehicle and use it every day, so magnet strength is one of the most important for me, which is why I do not use the Dbrand Grip.

You have the Symmetry + in black?

Does the back scratch real easy and show Magsafe ring?

I've had the Symmetry+ in black for about a month now. I can't answer the MagSafe part, but mine still looks like the day I got it. I think it's my favorite iPhone case ever. I like the minimal look and the back is perfect for not showing fingerprints or smudges.

Does Apple have any type of replacement program for the leather cases for when your dog chews through it?
Im sorry I have to chuckle here! I think you can try and contact apple in regards to a replacement but it’ll be a hit or miss.. depends how you approach the rep. I find if you make them laugh and play it up you might be successful in doing warranty claim. Believe me I’m pretty good at that haha. I have cats so I feel ya..

If somebody before you asks the same question you have and gets an answer what’s the point of asking again? Does each individual poster need a personalized answer?

In a nutshell, my point is a little reading can go a long way.
I’m going to chime in here and agree with you.

To the people looking for info on the best case/grip/color whatever- There’s so many opinions and posts on cases here- prob enough to make your head spin. I do have to add though that what works for some doesn’t work for all. I’ve been a smartphone user (iPhone specifically) long enough to know what I prefer and what I don’t- I know my lifestyle better than anyone. Mileage may vary folks. I tend to find the apple cases to be the best, I prob could recommend a few other brands off the top of my head but I’ve done that before for people just to have them not find the same opinion as myself about that particular brand. So I say try a few of the main cases you see posted about here, do a little bit of reading, look on YouTube and get what works for YOU the best.

Another beater in today. Catalyst Crux is a decent case with excellent grip and that's about it. The buttons are mushy, the Magsafe is weak and the cutouts are symmetrical 🤮🤮 $50. rubber case, nah o_O I'll test drive it this weekend before returning it.
