If somebody before you asks the same question you have and gets an answer what’s the point of asking again? Does each individual poster need a personalized answer?

In a nutshell, my point is a little reading can go a long way.

There didn't seem to be a satisfying answer.

I was looking for the closest thing to the Speck Candyshell Grip of a few years back, do you have any ideas? I am in the UK and haven't been able to find anything like that, nor has anyone posted it here.

that's my great camera work. it is flat and not floppy.
Haha sorry, maybe it’s my eyes! I appreciate you sharing because I was interested in that case… I went to see it at a local Best Buy today but it wasn’t for me at that price point. Are you liking it after some use?

yeah, i am liking it. i have the pro max phone and always like having a grip. so i have a MagSafe pop socket, a MagSafe love handle and a MagSafe MagOne and i switch off between them. i don’t like them on my phone though. its minor, but always a hassle when i want to charge or use a camera shutter grip i have. just having to take the grip off bothers me. and they all add bulk. and slide around. now its built in, works well and is really comfortable. the case really looks nice and is compact.

Benks Aramid Fiber or Pitaka MagEz Pro?? Which one do you guys, and girls, prefer? Which gets less oily looking?
The Benks with the DuPont Kevlar branded aramid Fiber by far. The Pitaka buttons and the easily deformed lip are the deal breaker. I have both...or had. The Benks is the same profile size as the Apple Leather but with a lip that covers the stainless steel entirely. It’s a thin case that protects as good as the Rebel Gen 4 if you watch his drop test. The phone in the Benks survived that 50ft drop.

the grip does for sure. It has the same material as a pop socket.

Dont get me wrong, this is a very cool idea, and executed well. Just not sure it's for me, especially at $60.

If you don't use the grip, the case is very slippery

Man what a let down. You returning it I guess?

Listen, I’m not trying to be a stick in the mud but that’s just how things work around here. I have a couple of issues that have plagued me for years and every time I ask about it or make a comment it’s been crickets. I continue to submit reports but I don’t continue to ask here because that would be obnoxious.

UAG CIVILIAN in Mallard ( NO MagSafe version)

Ordered this thinking it was the MagSafe version, turns out it was not. MagSafe version of the Civilian is much slimmer and sleeker. I wanted to try something other than black or gray for a change lol. Once I realized it was the wrong one I sent it right back. Sharing pics in case anyone has interest. (I search the Internet high and low for “real life” pictures of the case on my color iPhone so maybe someone else is as weird as I am and will find this useful! Lol)

That blue looks killer with the space black camera module. Do they offer the same color on the MagSafe variant?

I know I like the color a lot, and they do have the same color in MagSafe!! I’m assuming you have the Pro max based on the pictures on your “media” tab so here is the link to it in the pro max model with MagSafe!

I have a bunch of these cases - and have been a part of the conversations on these for the past few models - and I find a few things very subjective in the comments.

First - How Slippery - I don't have the largest hands, and gripping the PM phone has never been an issue. Very few cases have I ever found "slippery". With that said, I like some grip or something on the sides, but none have had that outside of the Dbrand Grip and Catalyst. As some compare them to wet bars of soap, I have never had that. The closest is when my hands are really dry in the winter air. I have used the Rebel as my everyday case for the past few years, and it has never dropped or slipped out of my hands. Same for the Mous or any other some refer to as that.

The second is the fingerprints. Unless I eat something greasy, I have had no issues with the carbon fiber cases and fingerprints. My fiancée, on the other hand - her hands are naturally more oily, and everything she touches leaves prints. If your hands are like this, you will find that most cases leave prints.

I think if you typically find your glass has a lot of residue left on it after taking drinks, you will find cases are going to have fingerprints left and will feel more slippery.
