I actually reached out to Mous about this. They are keeping the symmetrical, as they feel it is easier on the fingers when a case rests on it. Deal breaker for me
Yea, can't believe case manufactures are still holding on to the incorrect symmetrical cutouts this late in the game.
I'm interested in the Catalyst Crux case but the symmetrical cutouts are holding me back.

got it today. not much time with it yet. here are my initial thoughts.

the case itself is hard plastic, slippery with dry hands. if i pull on the sides or the top there is barely movement. if i pull on the bottom, you can stretch the case. not sure why anybody would do that, but i have read here complaints about that. i assume it’s just like a regular symmetry case. it seems very protective. it’s a clean look.

buttons: great
magsafe: strong and seems like everything will work. i say this because my apple magsafe battery doesn’t work with all magsafe cases. the case has to be thin. it works perfectly with this case.
scratches: i think the back will scratch. i can see under good led lights some minor scratches already.
fingerprints: in one of the photos i can see one. my hands are super dry so it’s hard to tell.
screen protection: nice lip
camera protection: nice lip similar to others. not great but does extend beyond the cameras.
the grip pulls out. it is held by two plastic/hard rubber pieces. they don’t seem to stretch. it is very comfortable to hold, i’m using my index and middle fingers inside. to push back in, a slight push and it pushes in flat. it feels magnetic how it snaps back in, although i don’t think it is.

if you like using a grip, i think you’ll love this case. i’m happy i bought it.
From the look of that picture of the grip extended, it looks floppy and crooked… is that’s the case that’s doodoo for $60 bucks lol

Can anyone recommend a grippy case for 14 Pro?
I find the Caudabe Synthesis to be very grippy and comfy in the hand, because of the dots on the side. The back scratched to hell in no time for me though. The Catalyst Influence has a very nice texture on the sides that give it a good grip. The Apple Leather is another that I own with good grip. The OtterBox Defender XT in all black has very good grip. There are lots. Sheath… I find the Mous Limitless 5.0 to have excellent grip personally.

I am in the UK, which of those would you recommend? I've got the Apple Leather now but it's falling apart after only 6 months.

I got mine today too! Awesome little case and a definite improvement on the previous magsafe popgrip.

No, it won't work as a stand, but search for otterbox "post up for magsafe" for their solution, while pocketable, it still ends up being something you have to remove for charging etc...

Can you get the case in the UK?

I know this has been asked probably 1,000 times but any very good recommendation for a grippy, protective quality case for the 14 Pro Max that can be bought from the UK? I don't mind spending a lot if the case is worth it and will last a couple of years..

I bought the Mous Limitless 5.0 case Speckled Fabric case and I am not too impressed and will probably return it. I don't like the feel of the fabric in the hand and the buttons rattle. After doing research, I read that the button issue is a common problem that many buyers have experiences.

I guess it would depend what you are looking for. Are you looking for grippy and slim, or grippy and protective. If you don’t mind a little extra size, I would recommend the Defender XT. It’s grippy and will protect your phone pretty well.

Yep, I originally ordered the black on Otterbox UK as soon as it went up (18th), that won't arrive until this coming Friday... however, on the 19th I saw Amazon UK had the black and the green for next-day delivery (and they still do), so I ordered the green and it arrived yesterday (...I'm a little impatient, but I like it, I'll keep both!)

Benks Aramid Fiber or Pitaka MagEz Pro?? Which one do you guys, and girls, prefer? Which gets less oily looking?
Pitaka MagEZ Pro 3 has the worst fingerprint problem of any case I've ever used.
Love the case but it's collecting dust in my case drawer.

After a few minutes of use with clean, dry hands 🤢
