For those of you who have been in a position where you got to keep a defective case and being sent a replacement one, did you carry on using the defective case and kept the replacement as a spare case or did you use the replacement one when it arrived and threw away the faulty case?

Caudabe sent me a case once that was scratched by the earpiece. I told them and they immediately sent me a brand new case, I just took the old case and gave it to my sister who didn’t care it was damaged.

My Casetify Impact Case (I got the MLB design) arrived yesterday and there is chipping of the plastic on both sides of the charging port of the case (looks like two small dents). It's is not visible, only when you turn the case upside down and look through the charging port hole.

I must say I am disappointed, especially when you consider how expensive the case is. A case this expensive shouldn't have any quality issues imo. Casetify cases are some of the most expensive cases around!

I contacted Casetify with pictures of the defect, and they said they will send me a new one and they don't require me to send the defective case back...
Their pricing pushed me away from ordering their cases again.

Sena made me cut the defective case in half and send them photos of it before they sent the replacement lol
Never buying from them again.

Why wouldn't you use the new one if it annoyed you enough to get a replacement? And keep the defective case for a spare or give it away or sell it off cheap.

Yes I kept using the defective case and kept the replacement case as a backup.

Wow Sena are harsh lol. They might as well have just asked you to send it back?

If the case was cheap I wouldn't even have asked for a replacement as the chipping plastic on my defective case is where the charging cable goes so you can't even see it unless you look through the hole, but as the case is soo expensive it should be perfect with no quality issues, hence why I asked for a replacement.

Oh okay that makes sense
I might just give it away then...

Bought the Mous fabric on Amazon. Hopefully it’s decent or I’ll just ride this Casetify bounce out. It’s grippy.

Swapped into the UAG Pathfinder Magsafe case today; TBH prefer this in hand than the ESR clear/black magsafe case. Its nice, but a bit too smooth for my fat hands 😂 The UAG is a lot more rugged and feels chunkier in the hands etc

It's a great case and you know your phones safe in it!
Keep the case but give me the wallpaper! I love it!

So last week I finally picked up a Caudabe Sheath because I was really itching for something that matched the purple 14 pro. Up til now I’ve been switching between two Andar cases that I really enjoy (Merlot and Moss Green).

The Caudabe has many pros: the Amethyst color with the purple phone is awesome. The color matching including around the raised camera edge is nice. The buttons are clicky and responsive and the grip is good. MagSafe is strong. My only complaint is that this thing attracts dust to the phone like crazy. I don’t mean on the case itself like a silicone case, but rather in the crevices of the phone’s edges and screen. I have wiped away so much dust & hair since putting the case on! I will definitely keep it and use it in rotation but I’m already putting an Andar back on for now.

Ordered this case today:

Always loved Torro cases; but they had a poor batch when I had my 12 & then 13 Pro Max, so hope they've sorted the clasp issues etc...

TBH much preferred the magnetic closure they used; it worked much better & I never store cards in the case, so I wasn't worried about it being over bulky...

If it turns out to be not as good as it should be; I'll revert back to Shieldon I reckon:

I love the Caudabe Sheath, but if I had one complaint about it, it'd be exactly this. I'm not sure how or why the case makes the crevices of the phone collect dust, but it certainly does. Glad I'm not the only person that has noticed this or had the same problem.

One more Live Edge. Definitely fits me (as far as the colors go). Only complaint is how visible the magnet ring is on the back, but oh well. Sorry for lousy pics, I used my work-issued Samsuck A53

I’m with you, I love the Caudabe sheath but anywhere there’s a molded seam it collects any dead skin from the hands. I just wipe it on my shirt and it’s gone but still I wish they could fix that and the shocklite material wearing down on the edges on the next gen.

It really is such a shame cause the case is so good, but I don't use it for extended periods because of this. I do hope they improve the case with the release of the 15 lineup.

I’m really liking this Mous speckled fabric case. I thought it might provide more grip than other backings. Not sure how much added grip the grip strips provide but I like this. Buttons are Fantastic. No loose buttons. Feels super solid.

Certainly smaller than my bounce case.

Not seeing it on my black for 2 weeks use, can't see how it would be the case lol

They really are a great case, I have the carbon gets a few smudges but feels great, and not slippery and I like the all black.
Only neg is the magsafe could be a bit stronger v the sheath I have, but the sheath seems to be an exception with the extra magsafe strength. Not that I've had an issue with the strength of the mous, I use magsafe for charging and car holder.

Using the caudabe sheath, synthesis, and my benks cases, then switching to my Apple leather, makes me realize just how bad the buttons are on the Apple leather 😂

Interesting haha I just switched back to my Apple leather and am really happy to have those nice, metallic (I think?) buttons again. I have heard that some of the Apple cases just come with wonky buttons though
