Interesting haha I just switched back to my Apple leather and am really happy to have those nice, metallic (I think?) buttons again. I have heard that some of the Apple cases just come with wonky buttons though
I think that may be the case cause I heard similar stories and my first Apple leather case buttons were hard to push but when I exchanged it the buttons were waaay better!

For sure, the buttons on my Benks armor pro are the best I’ve ever used.
Hmm interesting. Must just be a defective case I got then lol. The benks armor pro buttons are tier 1. Definitely the best I’ve ever used.

They really are a great case, I have the carbon gets a few smudges but feels great, and not slippery and I like the all black.
Only neg is the magsafe could be a bit stronger v the sheath I have, but the sheath seems to be an exception with the extra magsafe strength. Not that I've had an issue with the strength of the mous, I use magsafe for charging and car holder.

Yes the MagSafe could be better for sure. Love these buttons. I had a phone rebel case before and the carbon fiber just always got the smudges and fingerprints. That’s the only reason I went with this fabric. I figured it wouldn’t show any and so far none. I like the protection of the case without feeling overly bulky. That said., everyone loves the sheath and synthesis. Are they as protective? They don’t appear to be. They look to be barely more than a skin.

Bit more than a skin, supposedly 6ft drop proof, obviously not on the Mous level, I got my carbon with 2 Mous screen protectors new off marketplace for less than half the retail price, so can't complain.
If was buying from Mous I would get the black leather.

The sheath is smaller on par with the apple leather size, grippier on the sides than the Mous, and they nailed the magsafe strength.

I have the Synthesis on my 14PM. I dropped mine yesterday from the chest up on concrete and the case didn’t have any scratches on it, nor the screen protector cracked.

I found the leather version good just super slippy.

Had to order another phone rebel Flex case to try out on the iPhone 14. I’ve had three of them for iPhone X and 11 and 12. I really like the Mous but I also like to use a Phone loop and cannot with the magnet strength on the Mous. I am also using an official MagSafe Apple charger in my truck to wirelessly charge my iPhone, and the Mous case does not inspire confidence with that charger magnet

I swapped to the sheath for in my truck for that reason, although the mous never came off or looked like it.
I am using the Brodit setup that comes with a black magasfe magnet. They are expensive but I have used them for years, first magsafe one though and really like it.
Roads are dodgy here when you get off the highways. Australia.

That looks really good. Does it charge at 7.5 W? That’s the only reason I really wanted the official Apple MagSafe charger. I don’t like the fact that it stands out in my black interior in my tundra so boldly blatantly white. I will say the Mous has not fallen yet in three days, but boy does it feel like it’s not on there very securely.

Yes it does, that is why I got it with their black puck, you can get it without and use the apple white one too.

The USB ports in vehicles only provide a 5 Vdc power output, but the Qualcomm Cig-Plug Charger included with this mount provides 5 Vdc / 9 Vdc / 12Vdc Outputs to support the 7.5W / 10W / 15W fast-charging rates. We do not recommend connecting the wireless charging holder directly to the vehicle's USB ports. This is a 15W fast charging holder when used with the Cig-Plug Charger. Fast charging is device-dependent.

Im looking for a recommendation for a protective case thats grippy and not too bulky. I have the phone rebel 4 for my 14PM and love it, maybe something similar to it. So far Im looking at the MOUS Limitless 5 and the dbrand grip. I heard the MOUS can be slippery and the Dbrand has poor MagSafe magnets.

The UAG cases I have is very protective and not that bulky at all IMO; nothing like Otterbox cases can be etc

These 3 are always my first considerations. I have had the phone rebel flex on my last 3 iPhones (no pro maxes). Currently have a Mous (speckled fabric for no smudges and more grip) and it has more grip than I thought. The new sides are better than they look and add more grip than I thought but nothing like dbrand. Mous magnets feel weak but in my car have not dropped once off the MagSafe car mount and the fabric on the case provides a non-slippery surface for the factory Apple battery pack.

Dbrand grip is my favorite feeling and looking case. Love the grip feel. HATE the MagSafe magnets. Just so weak. If they can tweak that, it’s the winner. But because of that it’s my least fav of the 3.

Anybody using the Benks Armor Pro case as their daily driver? Do you still find it slippery?
I swap cases here and there, but it’s usually the one I have on my phone the most, and I’ve never found it to be slippery. To me it doesn’t leave a lot of fingerprint smudges, but keep in mind that it is an aramid fiber case, so the smudges are apparent.
