Love the smooth, solid sides. Should make it more comfortable to hold versus last year’s version
I think the symmetry+ would fair better in a direct back drop. On a corner drop the defender xt for sure would do better.
No you won’t. I never have in years of using Caudabe cases.
There is a slight texture and rubbery felling to the sides. Really nice case
Unpopular opinion. Caudabe Synthesis has to go back. The edges of this thing are just too rough. Too much of a sandpaper feel. The new side grips are grippy but just not comfortable. Fit is excellent. Buttons are fantastic.
I always get a UAG case for all my phones. This year for the first time I went with the Kevlar version instead of carbon fibre. Looks and feels great. Pricey but highly recommend.
In my experience, hand oils cause them to become more slippery. That’s why I haven’t used them since my iPhone 5 days. Things may have changed. YMMV.

This is totally the Lifeproof SEE, rebranded as Otterbox....great case though, had one for my 12 Pro Max and it was super solid.

My Ink case that I’ve been running since my 14p was delivered is grippier already. I tested a forest green case for a couple hours yesterday and the difference between the two in grip was night and day.
I don’t think that is an issue with this case, it feels very substantial and protective. I am pretty rough with my phones so we will find out

The symmetry is smaller and easier to handle. No sag on either.
The MagBak is just way too slippery for me. The powerful magnet is a very nice feature but I’m going to return it for a Sheath or Synthesis.
Also just wanted to add that the buttons on the MagBak are terrible and difficult to push.

I am finding the Caudabe sheath for my 14 pro to be slippery, I just ordered an Apple leather case and will probably return the Caudabe for a refund.
I don’t understand how the Sheath is slippery to some people. To me it’s always been a great grippy case and I definitely don’t think the Apple Leather is any grippier. I own both by the way and love them both.
Nothing to take pics with at the moment but I'm rocking the combo of the Alphex Beyond Clear in Deep Purple and the amFilm OneTouch Screen Protector. Really loving the look as I got tired of clear cases and the Spigen screen protector did nothing for me.
