Ooooh, that looks really clean. I was just mentioning that between Nomad and Caudabe, those two companies release such clean and classy designs.

Does the back get scratched up easily though? It looks glossy?

Wow, really? Are these the official MagSafe chargers? You're talking about the white circular part right? I don't think I've ever heard of a case actually color transfer on to some other object.

Yes official magsafe charger, magsafe battery pack, & belkin 3 in 1 stand all stained.

First time i had a leather case do that and i wasn't the only one with the same issue.

So that confirms that the action button version will not be entirely free? Have to pay for shipping at the very least

Also might want to check back a couple of pages with the MagSafe issue on Synthesis cases
Yes, this is the email I got from customer service. Obviously I’m not going to include the part with the code, but it’s listed above where I cropped the picture.

I’m aware of the MagSafe issues with the synthesis, mine looked fine out of the box, but will keep an eye out, thank you.

Damn I absolutely love this case!

Frosted back (less finger prints than clear)

Perfect blue to complement the blue phone and allowing the color to really shine!

Metal buttons that are super clicky (reminds me Apple’s Leather case or now FineWoven metal buttons) and nice shade of blue that again complements the phone so well and the little touch of orange in the action button looks great!

Perfect cutouts for the speakers on the bottom and comfortable on the pinky

It has MagSafe and it is a perfect blue that blends right in (instead of standout white)

Not bulky at all

Super comfortable in hand and nice soft feel and not super slippery like most clear cases

Very nice fit as well, looks really premium

You like this or the Synthesis case better?

So here are comparison photos of the 2 Kelvar Benks (ArmorPro & ArmorAir) cases and my Otterbox Fugura, and one cheap Aliexpress case

The Benks ones are way better than the Pitaka ones (which are cheap Aliexpress ones rebranded). The camera surround is metal on both Benks ones; the buttons feel awesome on both the ArmorPro and Otterbox.
The Otterbox is not saggy or loose on the sides or bottom like the 14pm one was, and the case has been on and off my phone many times.

The Benks and cheap Aliexpress case MagSafe is insanely strong, to the point I need to hold my Belkin 3in1 bedside charger so I don't drag it on my bedside table.

The Otterbox Magsafe is still way stronger than Apple's official cases Magsafe; the buttons are nicely coloured and click slightly when pressed, they are plastic.

The ArmorPro feels absolutely luxurious in hand; the side buttons click when pressed and are metal.

The ArmorAir is nice and thin; the volume, action, and power buttons are exposed, while the Aliexpress case is also super thin, practically a Totalee case with a texture and MagSafe, the power and volume buttons are part of the case, but the action button is just a cutout.

I can personally recommend the Benks and Otterbox, The Aliexpress one is fine if you're on a budget.

Hope this helps everyone.

Looks great - stormtroopers immediately come to mind. I was thinking about this one for my white Titanium Pro. How is it with finger prints? The gloss was my main hesitation. The white Apple silicone has always been my favorite and since that's not an option, I've been eyeing this along with the Andar white leather.
Yea I love the white/black aesthetic. This is one of the first cases in years I've found like it...almost like a cleaner version of this classic speck case they no longer make. No issues with fingerprints - the back is glossy but not really that shiny, if that makes any sense. So fingerprints are hidden unless you go looking for them in the right light/glare.

Ooooh, that looks really clean. I was just mentioning that between Nomad and Caudabe, those two companies release such clean and classy designs.

I only got it today so we'll see how scratches go. It is glossy, but as I mentioned above, not that reflective so scratches will probably be hidden.

is the case slippery?
No. The sides are a typical matte TPU material - they're a little smooth right now but will break in as I use it. And the glossy back plastic has some grip to it via resistance - I can actually almost hold the phone upright with just my fingers flat on the back since it won't slide down.

That actually looks great, even though it no longer looks like an iPhone lol. But really clean aesthetic
I'm tempted to put a black apple sticker on the back and make it a "jet white" iPhone. Did that with my jet black iPhone 7 inside this Totallee Jet White case. Unfortunately can't find a picture at the moment.

I emailed them 2 or 3 days ago to return the Sheath that my wife didn’t want. I haven’t heard back. I sent a follow-up email also but haven’t heard a response.

Glad I’m not alone. Been waiting close to a week for a response for return

Without freshly washed hands and a clean phone case, they get slippery.

Like I posted earlier, I am enjoying the synthesis I received, but I’m definitely fighting the urge to go back to my Apple silicone right now.

I don't know what the deal is with those other people, but my Synthesis works great. A buddy of mine got two for his wife and himself. They have had no problems either as far as they can tell.

I'll probably still go back to the Sheath because of how much I love it, but as I said earlier I'm really liking the Synthesis. Feels so solid. I even dropped it (accidentally of course) and nary a scuff on the thing. I'm really liking the side dots for grip.
It’s not the case, it’s the MagSafe part that has become unglued from the case. All I did was remove my phone from the case. Other than that the case is still flawless.

One could argue that's a hygiene problem, not a case problem :). But yes, if you've got wet or greasy hands, the back will definitely be slippery. With dry hands though, I found the friction grip of the back actually better than the Speck Presidio Grip ironically, since that's just TPU with (largely useless) inverted grooves.
