This is the first day back at work test driving the Spigen Mag Armor. So far this case is great and feels so great in the hand. The TPU helps providing a good grip and the form factor with rounded edges make it a pleasure to hold. The chevron back has some bite to it. The buttons are extremely tactile. It’s on the minimal side providing drop protection, I would say waist high or from a table.

I like the feel in the hand better than the Caudabe Synthesis because of the square edges of the Synthesis and the PC plastic.

So I think I’m dialed into what I want in a case. Rounded edges and TPU grip. That’s why I think I might like the Nomad Sport or Leather because they both have TPU bumpers but somewhat rounded edges and maybe similar minimal-ality as the Mag Armor.

How are the edges? Ringke cases in the past have been really flimsy and loose fitting around the sides which allows dirt in.
I had to return mine as the sides on the Ringke Fusion-X with MagSafe were flimsy as heck, really poor.
Was quite disappointed as I had been waiting patiently for it. The TPU they used on the XS Max Fusion is much stiffer, must be cost cutting.

Received a Storm Blue Apple Silicone today and got to say it's the most comfortable in the hand of all my cases. Will be using for a while.

Here's a recap of my other current cases:
Spigen Enzo. LOVE this case. Looks great, feels good with plenty of grip that improved with use. Does need regular cleaning like all aramid cases do. Lined metal buttons.
Mega strong MagSafe.

Benks Armor Pro. Love this case too. The aramid feels nicer than the Enzo due to a soft feeling texture. Stealthy look to it. Grip improved with use with this one too. Slightly smaller feel in the hand than the Enzo. Lined metal buttons. Needs regular cleaning.
Strong MagSafe.

Rhinoshield Solidsuit. Love the Bordeaux colour, added black buttons & camera ring which looks good.
It's quite chunky and almost non existent grip. You get used to that though but a bit of side texture would make this case so much better. Needs cleaning often also.
Generous lip around the screen and camera area, very protective case.
Mega strong MagSafe.

Torras Guardian. Nice looking but the translucent, matte soft feel back needs more regular cleaning than the aramid cases and looks grubby until cleaned. Plastic buttons have a seam which put me off using the case.
Strong MagSafe.

Caudabe Sheath. Dislike this case a lot. Not a patch on last years'. Harsher feel material than before. Ugly, visible MagSafe ring. Double the button slits that are too big. Action button mushy, seems like a rushed addition after getting the design wrong. Feels cheap. Not a case I'll use which is a shame as I really loved the Sheath on my 14 Pro Max.

Yea I’ve tried the Apple Silicone in store and I have to say it’s probably the most comfortable case in the hand. However I don’t like how it gets stuck in pockets. I like hybrid cases with a TPU bumper and a PC back. Maybe a silicone bumper and PC back would be better than all silicone.

Note: ohsnap lux 4 does not charge while using Mous 5.0 case. I cycles through charging/noncharging. I left my phone on my MagSafe charger all night, woke up with 5% battery. Took off the ohsnap and it started charging fine. Trying to contact ohsnap support to see if this is normal behavior but it’s difficult to get an actual support request in.
It does say on their website that any case 2.2mm thick or more may present issues with charging. If the case is 2.0mm thick or less it shouldn’t be an issue. I don’t know if the Mous 5.0 falls into this category.

Probably just gonna send this back and ask for full refund tbh.

This sucks. Most case companies will just send you a replacement case and tell you to throw the old one away.

I guess Phone Rebel wants their defective cases back so they patch them up can sell them to next customer.

This is not right. They should send you a replacement or a full refund. I had an issue with my frost case being lost, they refused to send me a replacement since it was lost while they waited for a response from usps, a week goes by no update. I told them that I wanted a refund. They luckily refunded me after I asked multiple times. No longer ordering from them, left a bad taste in my mouth.

FYI I tried the OhSnap with my Apple silicone case and when I attach it to my car vent the Ohsnap stays on mount and my phone is Snapless LOL.. so far that's the only issue I've seen with this OhSnap ...

So you’re able to move this around to different cases? Do you use the adhesive or just the magnet? I’m considering their dusty rose for my blue symmetry.

I use it with the adhesive..I’ve swapped a few times and just now added to my Synthesis case and I will test it out later today to see if it separates ..it might be only the silicone case but we shall see soon enough …

I’m on the verge of sending back my frosted PR case as well. I haven't been as impressed by it as I was the aramid case, plus I have thin cases (apple silicon, pitaka thin case), a BS leather case, and a protective case (mous limitless) that I think I have all my bases covered. I don't see where the PR case fits in except for a transparent backed case to show off the nat Ti phone back. I just hate that their return process is so long (I still haven't received my refund from the aramid case I sent back) and that they charge you the return shipping cost.

yes, you can move around to different cases. I initially put it on my frosted PR case, then moved it to the Mous Limitless, and now using it on the Pitaka. has not came off yet, although it was a bear to get off the PR case. you can also reactivate the adhesive by running it under water and letting it air dry (per their website).

Yes exactly I'm going to test on another case ..then if no issues will reactivate it again for the Silicone case

You are way too forgiving. You just spent your hard earned money on that case. You should demand perfection.
Yeah agreed, i just asked for a refund and return label since item is defective. We will see if they give any pushback or want me to pay for return label.

Phone Rebel Gen 5 Button kits are in and look to be of high quality. The backs of the buttons are smooth but there is no protective lining on them at all. I'll try them on the cases later this afternoon and report back. These pics do not do them justice, look way nicer in person.
