finally ordered a Caudabe synthesis in blue to match my blue titanium 15pm. IDC if the buttons are not good, they were awful for the 14pm and I still loved the case. Finally made the decision after getting the mous limitless leather and it’s just not a good case, it is NOT worth over $60, the fit was not good, doesn’t feel premium. I know other people have different opinions but it’s not for me nor do I think it’s worth the asking price.
If Phone Rebel cases are low $40’s there’s no way that Mous is worth it.

Couldn’t agree more! I like my phone rebel frosted a lot, feels on par if not a little more premium to me than the mous. Obviously it’s all personal preference but the RB is priced just right.

What’s the best Caudabe discount code floating around right now I went back to the sheath for 3 days and kinda want a titanium gray one now to replace my synthesis.

My quest for a slim leather case saw me giving Moft’s plastic* ‘leather’ case a go seeing as it was on offer on Amazon.

This is the ‘taupe’ colour but it’s basically grey and initial impressions after a few hours are good!

As slims as Apple’s previous offerings and it actually feels like leather. Possibly a little more slippery but not bad at all.

We’ll see…..

*I refuse to call it Vegan Leather as those two words do not belong together 🤣

I have been using the Apple winter blue silicon case for close to a week now. I was expecting it to collect dust based on the general feedback on the case. That has not been the case for me so far. This is my first time using silicone case. Has the case got better this year or I got a defective piece :)

I’ve been eyeing that color and storm blue on Amazon for the pro non max and it’s on sale.

I haven't used it in extreme dust prone environment as such. But at a place where pretty much dust collects after a day or two on objects. Hence wanted to to check.

Yes, we all have different preferences, but when certain aspects elicit overwhelming negative responses the manufacturers would be wise to address them. Caudabe has done this with their redesign of the Sheath. That is their reputation as any problems I've had with their cases in the past have been corrected in a timely manner. After a rough start with the early Sheath cases they have made the effort to make good on both the redesign and their shipping and communication problems.

Apple allocates so much attention to design, it seems a shame to plaster logos all over something we use to protect it.
I didn't know there were overwhelming negative response, I didn't like the logo's on the Mous, hence the Sharpie treatment. The only time I worry about cases is when I receive a new phone and I tend to wait 4-5 years to do that. Before the 15 Pro Max I owned the 11 Pro Max.
Anyway, the Mous logos are smooth and shiny where the rest of the case is textured, so the blacked out logos reflect light. Flat black would look better, but I did a quick fix.

I was passing by my mailbox, and heard some faint groaning emanating from within. I open it up, and lo-and-behold - it's a Christmas miracle!

My missing Mous package - stuck in a USPS black hole since the 4th with no updates - had gone from getting booted from the USPS Informed Delivery webpage yesterday for being too old, to appearing in my mailbox. They escaped from the black hole after all (hence the groans)...

Yes, both cases have a bit of curvature, but in this case, that's be expected when subject to the incredible gravitational forces of a black hole for a few weeks. You wouldn't fare too well, either :p

I gotta say, those colors are *chefs kiss*

Ouch, not so happy that mine was.
The case seems perfect but at this point I might have received a return.

This is frankly annoying, imagine if it was a present.
If it makes you feel any better, my first run of the action button version never had a seal to begin with. As long as you’re fine with the condition of the leather on the case, I don’t see a point in returning it. Andar keeps making tweaks to the product and packaging it seems.
