FWIW, that's the same individual who told me they couldn't issue a full refund for my damaged case, because it was damaged and used (and were only giving me any refund at all because I had sent it in already), despite another individual there already having had me send in photos of the damaged case, and then telling me to send it in after looking them over o_O

Note I had used it for five minutes before boxing it back up, and they were claiming it already had patina. It's a miracle!

I'll shut up now about that. The $$ was trivial, it's just being treated that way, is all. They're not worth any more of my time.
I would guess there was some miscommunication between the customer service agents. Maybe the second agent didn’t know the full situation and that you’d been promised a refund by the previous agent. Idk what your communication was, but I would’ve fought for full refund. Unfortunate but I do understand your stance after that experience, must’ve been frustrating all around

Got the pitaka magez 5 yesterday, 10 days direct from Pitaka. Was running the Benks armor air a lot prior to getting this, the pitaka is the winner for me. The looks are amazing and pitaka has done a great job of eliminating any sharp edges. I miss the alignment magnet but it’s not a deal breaker. The first pic I included a screenshot from a YouTube vid, it looks like pitaka may be testing/moving to a v5 with alignment magents.

Finally got some time to black out the PR Gen5 with the matte black components. Transforms the case to another level my goodness. Goes well with frosty too.

Also my updated Sheath will be here tomorrow and finally my Bullstrap Maverick collection will be here Sat. I also have an Andar coming right after Christmas. A nice way to end 2023.

I like the way they handled the aramid transition around the camera bump instead of simple cutting it off top & left at a 90 degree angle.... still prefer Pitaka's design by surrounding the entire camera area though.

And in the spirit of reducing case clutter this is my return stack.
Rhinoshield crashguard
Smartish gripmunk
Casekoo mag ring
Phone rebel flex
Otterbox symmetry
Esr halolock wallet stand
How do you like the PR flex?

Just got the Sheath in gray to go with my natty.

Buttons are clicky and tactile. I can hear the buttons click from arms length.

I’ve said before about the Synthesis and the same is for the Sheath. The Sheath is a stupid simple boring case with no pizzazz, won’t win a beauty contest, yet a very functional case with good form factor which checks all the boxes for me.

The grip isn’t as good the as the Synthesis but for me I would rate the grip above average which is plenty good, certainly isn’t slippery.

No sharp edges.

Very tight fit.

A major go.

Now time for the Synthesis in blue when the revisions drop.

I was told only the Sheath is updated so far, with the Synthesis changes coming in a month or so.
Interesting, I was told and have apparently been sent a revision for the Synthesis… will be a while as I’m UK based with holidays etc but unless I’m being sent something else, who honestly knows with Caudabe at this point

Caudabe has not been totally consistent in their communications over the past months, so it’s a bit of a lottery.

Got myself a Spigen Liquid Air.

So my trio is: Andar Aspen (brown), Caudabe Sheath (gray), Spigen Liquid Air (black), I think I’m done after this. 😄

What’s funny is that I still don’t have the phone but I should get it this weekend. 🤣

I have the Liquid Air even for my current iPhone X and it’s a good all day case imho.

It has no particular features (no MagSafe, no microfiber on the inside) but it’s solid, fit is perfect, it even has a decent lip (based on my experience with the X version of course).

Plus it’s probably one of the lightest which is not a bad plus for a 15 PM.

Good to know. Love the Sheath too and also have the Gray. I disagree on the looks especially with the Gray and natural titanium. Looks really classy. Most cases are over designed and hideous. I don't want a case looking like it's designed for Voltron enthusiasts. For the type of work I'm in, the Sheath exudes class and won't embarrass me in front of clients.

I tried the Liquid Air but no MagSafe and floppy fit on the sides were a no go for me.

That’s a good way to put it. It’s classy and refined.

Some poorly shot snaps of the Mujjo Shield case in all its inner TPE goodness. Rated 15FT for drop protection, but given they’ve been generous with the TPE like Mous and its not just in the corners like Rebel, I feel like it could fare well in more extreme drops (not that I shall be trying that out…). Feels very good in the hand and easy to grip with the Nomad-esque sides. Hope it serves me well!

Interesting case. It looks like a cross between a Mous and a Nomad.

Green Mous is in the house! Initial impressions; I love how it looks! Case feels great in the hand, doesn’t feel too bulky, love the grips on the sides, and the buttons are THE BEST.

Shoutout to @Hooterville for hooking me up with a great price, and getting it sent out quickly! I love it.
