Which Case Did You Get or Recommend For Your New iPhone 15 /Plus /Pro /Pro Max?

I had pops and creaks in two copies of the Gen 5. I also noticed that the hard surfaces around the camera and logo insert are raised above the microfiber lining, which seems like a design faux pas that may eventually cause scuffs on the phone. That‘s unfortunate because it’s a superb case otherwise.

Regarding the Sheath, I received one of the new versions with the updated buttons and MagSafe indentation fix. Unfortunately, it seems they didn’t totally fix the indentation issue. After just one night on a Belkin charger the indentation has shown up. It will undoubtedly get worse over time which happened with the other copies I‘ve already returned.

They need to get rid of the felt liner, then put whatever sh*t they use where it needs to be to stop the condom ring.

One of their social media reps told me straight up that the indentation problem was solved. This was in the comments under one of their social media posts.

My Synthesis is being shipped today should get it Thursday. I hope mine is the new buttons.

Are you sure the Synthesis has the revised buttons? I emailed them previously and I thought they mentioned that it was coming later? I'll check my emails later, but I'm pretty sure that's what they said.

Your odds are much better than mine have been. Three out of four of mine had the indentation. In each case the indentation worsened with use.

What color Sheaths? I’m really starting to think I might like the Sheath over the Synthesis. The all over texture comes in handy more than I thought it would.

No more Frosty love?

What is the correct way to install your phone into the Frosty without damaging the interior frost?
I usually install my cases from the volume side to the power button side and my Frosty got damaged.
Maybe better from the top or bottom?

I try and take a pic and mine and you can’t see it in a pic.

However what’s interesting is in the middle of the MagSafe on back feels very slightly spongy than the rest of the case if that makes sense.

Just as I’d been saying I’ve got enough cases, I won a Spigen OG case giveaway! The universe is on my side when it comes to my phone case addiction 😂 I asked for an Enzo Aramid (not an OG case) as my first pick, or frosted Ultra Hybrid if it wasn’t possible. Still need to buy a sheath tho, I like the synthesis I bought from hooterville I believe but the volume buttons are garbage lol.

Hopefully the next rebel frost has interchangeable MagSafe ring colors

I contacted Caudabe on social media and they just got back to me:

Hey there! At this time we are working on making small adjustments to the buttons on Synthesis. These updates aren’t reflected in existing cases but are anticipated around early to mid January.

I specifically asked about the Synthesis. They obviously provided misinformation in their reply to my email on Friday. Anyway, I ordered the Synthesis celestial blue on Friday based on that information (already received shipping email and should receive before EOW). Oh well. I am still excited about the case and will deal with the crap buttons, for now. I am sure they will make it right by sending me the updated Synthesis when it is available.

Caudabe claims 6.6ft drop protection but Apple doesn’t claim anything.

6.6ft is good for me which is about chest height.

After having my popsocket on overnight when I first received the Sheath I’ve gotten a VERY slight indentation. You really have to look to notice. I usually don’t use the pop socket but wanted to test it. I don’t use MagSafe either. I’m ok with it as it is now. I really like the Sheath. For those that are MagSafe heavy it’s definitely an issue.

I think all us who like the Sheath should contact Caudabe and help them out. Seems like past Sheaths haven’t had the problem. It’s their flagship case too.

Here’s an article from Caudabe that I theorize back fired on them implementing a liner. They compromised the back of the case. Their intentions were good but it back fired.

I was going to order another Sheath but think I'll hold off.

I requested a return for the new revised Sheath I received. I just cannot enjoy the feeling of this case after a long period of time holding the phone. For me, it's just a weird feeling and just cannot get on board with it.

Still loving mine, I install it from the bottom then push in the top. Not sure if it makes much of a difference but I haven't lost any frost yet. I try to make sure the phone is pushed down as far as it will go without rubbing the back first just to be safe.
