What about the others who have posted that don’t have the condom ring issue or have said they don’t have a problem with the Sheath? You calling them liars?
if they use magsafe enough it will happen eventually
I don’t think anyone is saying that every single one of these cases have issues. I was unfortunate enough to have five out of five defective cases from Caudabe yet I don’t think every Caudabe case shipped is defective. Certainly some people get a good copy.
At least one person said they gave Sheaths as gifts and none of the recipients had these issues, as if that was somehow proof that these cases don’t have any of the defects described in this thread by multiple people. This is hardly proof. If someone gave me a phone case as a gift and it had defects I certainly wouldn’t complain to the person who gave me the gift. I doubt many people would be that uncouth.

Word of advice Macher; You're wasting your time arguing with "Surfsalot" Muted them a longgggg time ago. They love to go back and forth about how they think Caudabe is terrible.
Most of these people are not that picky and don't care if they have a ring or not. Only crazies like myself with OCD on high alert notice these kind of things. Like the Frosty loosing interior frost, most don't give a poop 💩💩
Is it just me, or do you sometimes wonder which case to put on? At the moment can't decided between the Mous, Caudabe or Andar? .....

True. The problem with the Sheath we’ve been discussing is different than surface scratches that show up on most cases, this is an actual warping of the surface that shows up after charging, probably due to heat.
Most likely. My Pitaka MagEZ 4 and Apple Silicone cases develop the c ring, BUT it wipes right off.

Pitaka MagEZ Case 5 in the moonrise color is here! I’ve seen posts with the sunset one, but haven’t seen the moonrise, so here it is. This case is VERY minimal, feels like you don’t even have a case on, which I love, and the grip on the back feels great.

Serious question: Do you feel this case provides any drop protection, or only protection against scratches and dings? I’ve seriously considered one of these but always hesitate when I think about dropping it on concrete.
I’m still waiting for it to show up on Amazon! I actually emailed them this afternoon about it lol
Hard to say if it’d provide any drop protection, and hopefully I don’t have to find out lol. I work in an office, so I hardly ever need a lot of drop protection, so Ill mainly use it to protect against scratches and use my Mous or Caudabe when I feel like I need more protection. I’d say it’s mostly for scratches, but it’d possibly survive like a 3 foot drop 😂
I was going to wait for it to be on Amazon, but ended up getting it from the website, cause patience is not my forte 😂

Initial impressions...
-The Bullstrap leather demolishes the Andar leather, but both have a sensational leather smell
-The Andar is a bar of soap out of the box, wayyy more than Bullstrap (I do understand once my hand oils get in the case and with usage, the grip will get better on both cases)
-The buttons are literally from the same factory it seems lol
-MagSafe strength is just about the same. it's a coin flip.
Very hard to say which case is better. You can't go wrong with either. The bottom cutout of the Bullstrap does not bother me one bit. Zero pinky fatigue with the cutout. I really hope I can break these cases in quickly because both are rather slippery out of the box. I do like the leather wrapped camera ring the Bullstrap offers, but prefer the company branding better on the Andar.
Both will stay in rotation. Beautiful leather options.
My replacement sheath also showed up today. In the picture showing the buttons, you can see on revised one (L) the slits are slightly longer, and let me tell you, the buttons do feel much better.
In the other picture, the old version is on the left, and you can slightly see the MagSafe indent. New version is on the right. We will see if over time the new version develops the MagSafe ring, but out of the box you can’t tell, at least I can’t.
But back in the Pitaka 😛

Yep it is a beautiful color against the natty titanium
That's selling it a bit short. It definitely adds grip vs the naked phone. But no, it will not provide much at all in the way of drop protection.
I said probably a 3 foot drop, but caudabe says 6, so the Pitaka would probably be more like 2 lol. It’s surprising how much grip it adds, actually.
