I just can’t get past the fact it’s just plastic. And I have a ceiling of £20 tops for that material. 😉

I feel like that's a bit of a pretentious statement saying that someone wouldn't like the Sheath more than the Synthesis. It comes down to personal preference. I'd say Sheath > Synthesis.

Well, like I said, it's personal preference, but for me Sheath > Synthesis because of the grip. Yes, the Synthesis has the grips on the side which is nice, but the back of the case is basically just a smooth textured plastic feel, whereas the Sheath has texture wrapped all around the case. It isn't the same texture as the sides of the Synthesis, but personally, I find the texture on the Sheath and it being full coverage, better than the grips on the sides of the Synth. Also, If you're someone that changes their case often, beware that the Sheath is much easier to remove than the Synthesis, which feels like you need a crowbar to remove.
I would say its very pretentious and not just a bit of lol
All jokes aside, yea everyone has different flavors they might like. Gotta try both and see what's best for the individual.
Any of my case fanatics (me included) ever think "sod it, I going naked" and just not using a case? My usual pattern is, buy new iPhone, buy a load of cases, then after 6 month or so use caseless, then, think "mmm, new iPhone out next month, better stick back in a case to protect for selling"?
I also always get AppleCare Plus (that Ive never used) so when you think about it, the cost of all these cases would probably pay for any repairs should you drop or damage your phone? Makes you think, especially this year as the 15 Pro's feel SO good in the hand without a case?

I do not think its MagEZ 4 tight which does need a crowbar lol
See I am the opposite, the full texture of the Sheath is just an unpleasant feeling after hours of usage. I sent my revised case back.
There you go, everyone has to make their own decisions. This is why I love seeing everyone's top 5 as they are always all different.

I never had the magEZ 4, but heard it was a nightmare to get off the phone lol.

Not sure I necessarily have a top 5, but I’m interested in seeing what you put out there. I know the frosty, and aramid gen 5 are probably up there, which makes me want to buy them lol.
I forgot to add the AC+ so I am beat. My plan in the very beginning was to just do AC+ and maybe a case when out and about. Nope, I am a case whore and always end up with so many cases lol

I am going to post my top 5 tomorrow as there is wayyyy too much going on NYE Sunday. Just glad all the cases I ordered came in before the new year.
This exact thought always runs through my head lol. I have AC+ since I’m on the Apple Upgrade Program, so technically I’d be fine going caseless, problem is if I ever shatter my phone and need to get it exchanged/repaired, the closest Apple Store to me is 2 hours away. And like @thatappleguytoday said, I’m a case whore so I love my cases, but yes, the 15 feels sooo good in the hand, maybe one day I’ll have the guts to go completely caseless.
