A few pics for you. In the second pic I added a couple of arrows pointing out the unusually small gap between the surround and the lenses. The machined alloy inner part actually tapers inward toward the lenses to minimize the amount of exposed glass - no other case does this that I’m aware of. The alloy part is surrounded by TPU (or similar) and raised slightly above the edge to protect the surround and your desk. Everything on this case screams precision, which you will like if that’s important to you. As stated elsewhere, it shows fingerprints and it’s not terribly grippy. Always trade offs…Can you or anyone else with this case post a picture of it from the front? You talk about the bezels but I can’t see what makes it so different from other cases and my curiosity is piqued. Every picture is of the back.
What do you think if Pitaka could put matrix strips on the sides inconspicuously for better grip?A few pics for you. That would be awesome. Maybe next year? What do you think if Pitaka could put matrix strips on the side that would blend in for better grip?
Is your screen protector all the way to the edge?
What brand screen protector are you using?
Damn, you definitely don't want that one to peel up.Shellrus sapphire. Dang near to the edge
My guys got questions for questions! Are you a detective?! 🕵️ lol jkWhat do you think if Pitaka could put matrix strips on the sides inconspicuously for better grip?

Yeah that is probably why it is raising all the time. It weird why it didnt happen with the frosty or the aramid case.Shellrus sapphire. Dang near to the edge
Idk it’s close to the edge with the sheath and synthesis too. Maybe it stretches moreYeah that is probably why it is raising all the time. It weird why it didnt happen with the frosty or the aramid case.

On my second one 😅Damn, you definitely don't want that one to peel up.
Damn those are expensive screen protectors lolOn my second one 😅
Do you or @acbarn know if using MagSafe on this case leaves a ring? I don’t use MagSafe much but didn’t want to muck up this sweet case with a ring if it does?? Thanks!Yes the chamfered edges are a feature that many don't like, but you cannot deny the execution is perfect and those edges hug the contour of the phone closely, just more angular than the slightly rounded titanium body. I like them because they add a secure area for gripping that the silky texture lacks, and a profile that differs from any other aramid fiber case for a distinctive architectural-like appearance.
And as acbarn noted earlier the construction is all aramid fiber (with the exception of a portion of the sides) which keeps its weight to a minimum and takes advantage of the inherent strength of the material. Many of the other fiber cases slap an overlay on one of their generic cases and it is obvious when you look at the construction to the left and top of the camera bezel. Others punch a silly hole in the side for a lanyard that 99.9% of owners will never use. It is a Bentley in a lot full of Toyotas and is priced accordingly. View attachment 2336847
$85 for a screen protector is sheer lunacy, don’t care how good it is.Damn those are expensive screen protectors lol
I noticed today that a lot of spigen cases have it too. The only case I ever saw it on before today was the Apple fine wovenThis is interesting. On the Amazon listing for the aramid Gen 5 Rebel, it has a notation that it’s a frequently returned item. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen that before, and it’s not on the Frosted listing.
None visible so far, and I don't think it likely given the hardness of the material. The stuff is made to handle bullets after all.Do you or @acbarn know if using MagSafe on this case leaves a ring? I don’t use MagSafe much but didn’t want to muck up this sweet case with a ring if it does?? Thanks!
You have to have at least 250 posts.I don’t have access to the marketplace for some reason.
Thank you. I’ll work on that. You have to have at least 250 posts.
For sure, but sometimes you need a 4wd truck. 🙂It is a Bentley in a lot full of Toyotas and is priced accordingly.

This is very true.
Yea know what you’re saying. When I had the Apple silicone and slapped it on after running the Sheath I was like “wow holy sh*t this is what a case should feel like!”.All that talk about the Sheath and now I am back to the super minimalist Pitaka MagEZ 4! Feels so good!
Some reviewers have said that the Pitaka pro is too boxy, not rounded and somewhat sharp edges? Do you find that to be true?None visible so far, and I don't think it likely given the hardness of the material. The stuff is made to handle bullets after all.
