Have you tried multiple cases in the past iPhones or have you always stuck with your go too’s?
In the past it was always just the leather case. For the two years i had the 13 pro i only had one cases and never changed.

yes, my 11 Pro sheath has become smooth. I wipe my case often with alcohol wipes back then during the pandemic. not sure if that was the reason why.
The surface does wear down with use over time, and the texture varies slightly depending on the color. This latest version for the 15 PM has a rougher surface so it may take longer for it to manifest any appreciable smoothness. The case is there to protect my phone and I view it much like tires for my cars, an expendable wear item which gets replaced periodically from usage, or in the case of a case, sometimes... boredom.

I quit buying cases a couple/few weeks ago, now I’m in the process of determining which, if any, I’m going to part with. Every case has its flaws, here are a few thoughts on the cases I have in my current collection:

Mous Limitless: sharp on the back edge
Pitaka Pro: fingerprint magnet, somewhat slippery
Caudabe Sheath: MagSafe indent, meh buttons
Phone Rebel Gen 5: too many edges/crevices, internal design flaw has hard materials pressing against phone back
Nomad Rugged: unsightly cutouts, could fit tighter
Otterbox Symmetry: loose fit, lackluster finish (rough mold lines)
Apple FineWoven: what can I say that hasn’t already been said?

Any thoughts/comments from those who have, or have used, these cases are welcome. 😊

I do but i dont want to think about if i am going to damage it every time i take it off or put the case back on. still deciding.

This whole I am going to damage frosty conversation is so blown out of proportion lol ...there is still zero damage to my frosty. Just remove it from the bottom first so when you slide the phone out it's not scraping the inside. Enjoy the case, that's what everyone should be doing.

That is true. I have been so careful doing the instructions you have said and everyone else. I only noticed a bit on the right hand side near the camera came off. Not sure how.

I've said it before and I will say it again, soon we are going to need cases for cases.

This is my experience.

Mous Limitless Aramid: too slippery even with the addition of the bumps for grip which didn’t make it grippier for me. Also fingerprints.

Pitaka Pro: haven’t tried the Pitaka but ran the Benks. If the Benks Aramid is the same as the Pitaka then it was too slippery for me like a wet bar of soap. Also fingerprints.

Caudabe Sheath: only issue I have is I wish it was little lighter and a bit thinner in depth. The MagSafe indentation isn’t a deal breaker for me. I like that there’s no fingerprints, no scratches and the grip is good all over.

Phone Rebel gen 5 Frosty: was too slippery for me especially on the grips. The spike I think actually made it less grippy.

Otterbox Symmetry: same as you. Not grippy enough. Wider than I like.

Apple Fine woven: haven’t ran. Handled in the store. I really like the form factor and the Taupe I picture wearing like a pair of Carhartt duck pants. Too slippery of a side grip

Nomad Rugged: haven’t tried

I've also been using them exclusively since they arrived on the scene and agree that a slightly lighter and thinner case without the circular ring showing through would be an improvement, although that slight ring imprint isn't the deal-breaker for me as it is for you. The fact that Caudabe seems to be addressing complaints even if from only the most particular of customers bodes well for future upgrades. We shall see.
I am in 100% agreement with you regarding the Pitaka Pro though... peerless quality and a wonderful design, with a completely different feel from the Sheaths, which for me makes it a perfect alternative.
Can you post a link to the Pitaka Pro please...
I might consider getting this case...

I was not feeling the natural titanium on my PR Aramid. Maybe I'll give it another shot now that I did away with my fat camera guard.

Natural Titanium or Blacked Out - Which combo looks best on the aramid?

Honestly, my preference is for the stock color. If I had to choose between these two though, I’d go for the black. The Ti is too much of a contrast IMO.
