Busted this guy out for the day. Case is amazingly constructed, feels a little more square in the hand than it needs to, but other than that beautiful case.

Yes the chamfered edges are a feature that many don't like, but you cannot deny the execution is perfect and those edges hug the contour of the phone closely, just more angular than the slightly rounded titanium body. I like them because they add a secure area for gripping that the silky texture lacks, and a profile that differs from any other aramid fiber case for a distinctive architectural-like appearance.

And as acbarn noted earlier the construction is all aramid fiber (with the exception of a portion of the sides) which keeps its weight to a minimum and takes advantage of the inherent strength of the material. Many of the other fiber cases slap an overlay on one of their generic cases and it is obvious when you look at the construction to the left and top of the camera bezel. Others punch a silly hole in the side for a lanyard that 99.9% of owners will never use. It is a Bentley in a lot full of Toyotas and is priced accordingly.

Great analogy. You pay for what you get. I’ve been a fan of Pitaka for years. I’ve been running the MagEZ 4 600D Black/Grey (Twill). I used to run the Air case until they stopped making it. Now they have the MagEZ 5 case which has similar specs as the old Air case. 🤔

How’s the grip though @acbarn said it was slippery. My experience with Aramid is most are fingerprint magnets which I hate and being slippery. For me if a case is a fingerprint magnet it’s a no go even if it’s built great and looks good.

Mannn finally ran into a problem with my crystal black. The case is so tight on the phone that it actually does somewhat lift my screen protector randomly. Happened twice in the past 3 days. And this sucker is perfectly aligned lol rebel and frost don’t do this.

Is your screen protector all the way to the edge?

Beautifully said. Normally my OCD will not allow me to run this case for more than an hour or two because of smudging, but I’m challenging myself to keep it on for as long as I can because of what you said, it just feels like the most premium case of the Aramid options. Slim bezel when looking at the screen, metal buttons are A1, and I do love how they wrap the aramid around and only use the black TPU (or whatever it is). It truly is a beauty!

Can you or anyone else with this case post a picture of it from the front? You talk about the bezels but I can’t see what makes it so different from other cases and my curiosity is piqued. Every picture is of the back.

I was not feeling the natural titanium on my PR Aramid. Maybe I'll give it another shot now that I did away with my fat camera guard.

Natural Titanium or Blacked Out - Which combo looks best on the aramid?

Semi related - this is why I can’t pull the trigger on the Spigen Enzo Aramid. The silver accents just don’t look as nice as a blacked out aramid case.

That PR aramid + matte black kit is *chefs kiss*.

I quit buying cases a couple/few weeks ago, now I’m in the process of determining which, if any, I’m going to part with. Every case has its flaws, here are a few thoughts on the cases I have in my current collection:

Mous Limitless: sharp on the back edge
Pitaka Pro: fingerprint magnet, somewhat slippery
Caudabe Sheath: MagSafe indent, meh buttons
Phone Rebel Gen 5: too many edges/crevices, internal design flaw has hard materials pressing against phone back
Nomad Rugged: unsightly cutouts, could fit tighter
Otterbox Symmetry: loose fit, lackluster finish (rough mold lines)
Apple FineWoven: what can I say that hasn’t already been said?

Any thoughts/comments from those who have, or have used, these cases are welcome. 😊
1 never even noticed on my 14 pro till read on here, still didn't worry me, just expensive here.
2 never tried to pricey for here
3 enough said lol
4 had modern but same bottom sides, tough on pinky
5 never tried too pricey again
5 using now, mine is not loose, not sure about gold lines, back is smooth has scratched, sides good grip
6 lol, no issues except sides are slippery, plus is so light and perfect fit, good magsafe/buttons
7 returned mujjo, for $90 didn't smell/feel like good leather, very sticky

Like you not satisfied 100% with what I have.
I did like the mouse carbon for my 14 pro but have a max now so not sure. There is a carbon one for sale on FBM here for $80AUD with postage, tempted.
