Ok thanks i am thinking about returning it on Amazon and waiting for the crystal to come out on amazon. Still decking if i like it. But dont want to worry about the frost always coming off everything i take out or put on.
Yeah that was my exact thought too. It’s not so noticeable, but I will know and then I’ll always notice it.. the grip on the crystal is also much better

I think if you generally like the Frosted, you will like the Crystal possibly even more due to grip

My only gripe is the titanium buttons not working right

I was a Caudabe fan way back when they first started, used the Sheath as my primary case for at least a couple of years before moving on to other cases. Other cases have improved while I feel like the Sheath has actually gotten worse, or at least not kept up with the competition. It needs to be lighter, with floating buttons, and smooth on the back (no MagSafe indent).

I’m pretty sure the c-ring issue is unique to this year since adding the lining.
I've also been using them exclusively since they arrived on the scene and agree that a slightly lighter and thinner case without the circular ring showing through would be an improvement, although that slight ring imprint isn't the deal-breaker for me as it is for you. The fact that Caudabe seems to be addressing complaints even if from only the most particular of customers bodes well for future upgrades. We shall see.
I am in 100% agreement with you regarding the Pitaka Pro though... peerless quality and a wonderful design, with a completely different feel from the Sheaths, which for me makes it a perfect alternative.

Yeah very strange i noticed that as well. Hopefully if becomes available on amazon for Canada. do you have a pro? Is that how you got one from amazon?
Yessir. I have the pro. But I decked it out with black camera frame, and the black buttons and holy smokes are the buttons MUSH. They have no responsiveness. I should take them out and put the original back to see if they feel the same but I’m tired, I’ll try tomorrow lol. Other than that I love the feel in hand. Super grippy, most grippy of the 3 phone rebels I have tried this year…. By a large margin. Only cons so far in 10 mins of use, the buttons, the Apple logo isn’t centered in the MagSafe ring on the pro size, and you can see the channels for the screws for the camera frame. I’ll post some pics soon.

To be honest, once you get your Andar Aspen broken in, and the leather gets grippy, it might be one of, if not the most comfortable case to hold. Form factor, pinky, texture of the leather, all top notch.

Don’t know if the Benks is same Aramid as the Pitaka but I ran the Benks for 2 weeks and it was like holding a wet bar of soap.

I used to own a Sheath for 11 pro. I enjoy it but after a year, the grip gets mucky and the texture feels different. The case looks like it has absorbed the moisture from my hands and it feels grimy which I cant seem to remove. I'm someone with sweaty palms so maybe thats why.

but yeah, sheath just isnt my case from a durability pov.

I always heard Sheath to be durable, looking brand new a year later. Perhaps that is something that has changed with their formula since iPhone 11.. this is my first year trying Caudabe, just speaking from what I’ve read about it as it’s been a popular topic

Mine have always been durable, but my son’s get like described above. I tend to think that is because I clean mine often and my son does not.

I have a gray and celestial blue Sheath and the textures are different between the 2. The celestial blue is more grittier which I prefer. The gray is “smoother” texture.

yes, my 11 Pro sheath has become smooth. I wipe my case often with alcohol wipes back then during the pandemic. not sure if that was the reason why.
