I have the new version of the c blue and gray colors. My buttons are clicky and tactile, but I can barely hear a clicking sound when using the action action button (even when close to my ear). It could be better, but not a deal breaker.

@macher - do I have two duds?

To all Sheath owners, please chime in about your Sheath action action button.

Here’s my action button sound in c blue Sheath.

@macher - do I have TWO duds? I don’t think so.

To all Sheath owners, please chime in about your action action button.

Edit: I can hear a very faint clicking sound right up against my ear, but no much of anything half an arms length or closer. Like I said above, it’s not a deal breaker, but you (and perhaps others) brought it up, so I had to jump in about it.

Sadly @macher is the exception and we are the rule, multiple pages back I mentioned this and quite a few others also chimed in saying their action button was still average. SO I don’t think you have duds, I think we have their revised ‘normal’ and @macher luckily has an exceptionally good one

Yep, we are the rule. Thanks for re-sharing your feedback.

I should have mentioned that it’s the revised Sheath not Synthesis.

Hopefully they keep the same colours for the closed bottom version when they launch it.

I don't see the obsession with this open/closed bottom of a case. If anything, the open bottom is going to be a better quality due to how the leather is wrapped. I bet the closed bottom won't feel as premium as the open.

I don't mind an open bottom case as I don't have to worry about a pinky problem...where as so many nice cases that are closed dig into your pinky where the port/speaker cutouts are

I’ll be interested in seeing people post about it. I actually really like the open bottom of my BS. I know a lot of people have been looking forward for a leather case which is closed bottom while still having the leather wrapped camera surround as opposed to a metal frame as all other closed bottom leather cases have.

Yeah true i am not rough with my phone so any cases would be good with me. I just have become used to the closed bottom cases after they became available for the 12 series onwards at apple.

Do you notice the leather getting a Patina yet? Or it staying the same shade?

My cases are always in rotation so hard for me to get a patina going. However both Bullstrap and Andar have got better grip now after usage.

It took a few weeks for me.
I’m have the camel tan in my cart.

Not sure if I’m a fan of a covered leather camera ring or not. How about you? What’s making you check out the bullstrap since you have an Andar?

Apple Clear Magsafe case for my 15 Pro Max. I'll probably get the dbrand clear case when this one yellows.

I like how the camera ring matches the case. I am not a fan of the black camera ring. Similar how the apple leather cases ring matches the cases.

The issue with open bottom is the same issue you have with closed bottoms.

The small lip of the open cases can dig into pinky fingers a lot harsher than closed bottom cases can. They definitely do, mine.

You’re correct that there are so many nice cases with open bottoms but just because they are nice doesn’t mean they aren’t tough on the pinky.

Open Bullstrap I have zero issues with pinky problems. The pinky literally rests on the flat phone part lol …I find there are so many closed cases with sharp cutouts make the pinky problem a lot worse.

Wife tossed the Apple Remote conveniently on the couch where my phone was sitting. Aspen didn’t stand a chance :(

I recommend sleeping first before contacting the divorce lawyer…

You could try some leather balm to try and soften it down, or just bite the bullet and order yourself another.
