I think I prefer the Sheath over the Phone Rebel. The Sheath feels better in the hand imo especially with the Pro Max being a big phone, grip is important!
Anybody who has used the Sheath for a long time, does the texture on the back wear away after some months?

Also as I have the Grey Sheath, what do you guys use to clean the case when it gets dirty/marks appear.?

In my opinion, it’s difficult to compare the Sheath to the Phone Rebel because the levels of protection are so dramatically different. Minimally protective cases like the Sheath are almost always more comfortable than highly protective cases. What you give up in comfort, you gain in protection, and vice versa. That said, the PR has one of the best thinness to protection ratios (assuming the metal camera surround won’t cause issues in a hard drop, which is an open question).

In past years I found that the texture of the Sheath does eventually wear down, but it takes a long time.

I’ve always just used a microfiber cloth and a bit of water for cleaning.

Green version arrived today and it’s every bit as good as I expected it to be. Lovely feeling in the hand, clicky buttons and fits the phone perfectly. An absolute bargain at £7.39 ($9.40)! Thanks again for your photos and recommendation.

Just ordered the blue to try.

I’m still using the spigen case and honestly when I take the case off to clean the phone there’s a new scratch on the frame.

I’ve never had an iPhone with this many scratches. Just hoping Apple replace it under AppleCare.

I don’t think you’ll be disappointed, especially at this price.

What Spigen case are you using? That’s very unfortunate, so it’s scratched while you’ve had the case on?

Do those of you who change cases regularly see any issues with the buttons on your phones getting loose? I mostly use a Loopy for convenience/ease of use, but would love to have other options sometimes. I just hate taking my phone in and out of cases a lot because I always feel like I’m gonna mess up my buttons or something.

Yea, these are fine cases but the fingerprints/smudges drive me crazy o_O

I prefer the Sheath over the PR myself. In fact I only have the Sheath in 2 colors and my recent Ryan London leather.

The Sheath doesn’t get dirty much or marks, fingerprints or smudges. But if does a damp microfiber cloth does the trick.

Also you can’t compare the Sheath to the PR as the PR offers more drop protection. However for me I don’t need the drop protection the PR provides, the Sheath is plenty.
