No I don’t cause I swipe up at the line, ez peezy. And even if I don’t hit the line doesn’t feel bad. This case is 🔥

Plus having open bottom is way easier swiping up.
Only time I have ever cracked a screen on a iPhone since the 4S, was the 7 plus in a open bottom apple leather case, fell on a car seat rail bottom first lol
Good luck.

That’s what Apple Care is for buddy. Have 2 Apple Stores within 15 minutes and 2 Best Buy(authorized Apple repair) the same.

Pretty sure this wouldn't of happened in the good old symmetry v near 0 lip Nomad, fell in car don't even know what it hit, SP was stuffed anyway but???

First one came with back scratched, replacement is faulty near the power bottom last 2 photos, won't sit against phone, never had a nomad with that issue, not sure if to keep original will get scratched anyway or not???

Man you’ve had some bad luck. Didn’t you say you cracked a screen in a Sheath too?

I had that same power button issue with a Rugged. Nomad cases could fit a lot tighter.

Similar thing with a sheath but cracked on the side, only fell about 2 ft onto a timber draw that was open, side of case came away from phone.
Think I will send them both back for peace of mind lol
The tightest case I have tried/have is the FW believe it or not.

It sounds like you received a good copy of the FW, mine doesn’t fit right (pops and creaks).

It’s a toss up between my Synthesis and Phone Rebel for tightest fit.

I got turned off the synthesis, was years ago but the sides split taking it off.
The FW is the closest case I have tried that feels like the phone itself shape wise.
Maybe should run it only for a few months see if the grip improves, it is better when it’s hot like now here, 32c here today and 80% humidity, been 26c overnight lol.

I think I prefer the Sheath over the Phone Rebel. The Sheath feels better in the hand imo especially with the Pro Max being a big phone, grip is important!
Anybody who has used the Sheath for a long time, does the texture on the back wear away after some months?

Also as I have the Grey Sheath, what do you guys use to clean the case when it gets dirty/marks appear.?
I noticed on my 12 PM Sheaths that the black and gray seemed to wear more than the blue I purchased later in their run. Caudabe has sent me 2 replacements for my early 15PM gray case and I’ll keep one unboxed to compare to the other 2 after some use. I tend to stick with plain water to clean all of my cases and really haven’t found the need to go with anything stronger. What kind of marks are showing up?

That’s why it’s so heavy and thicker this year they added felt, which also means not as easy to clean like last years.

I think they’re talking about the outside of the Sheath when and if it gets dirty. It’s ez to clean up.

Why would you need to wash a whole case in soapy water lol. Just wipe the back and edges when needed, and take out your phone 1-2x a week and blow out the inside.

I actually like to wash my case with running water and dish washing soap with reusable cleaning wipe cloths after a few times going to the gym, running errands and literally just about anything after some time I feel like my case is a germ bed and I give it a proper wash.

I actually do miss that about the Sheath last year being able to just wash it under running water, still possible with the Synthesis, as a matter of fact I washed it this morning and when I do, I clean the phone too the same way while I’m at it lol.

Just got confirmation today from Nomad on Instagram that they have no plans to restock the white colorway for the sport case and there are no new colors planned to be released soon :(

Guess I'll be grabbing a black one.

Phone Rebel Crystal in today. The case is OK but in many ways sucks. I tried all the different color buttons in it and while they do work, they suck. They no longer float like they do in the aramid or frosted cases. Also noticing a rainbow effect on my Apple logo on the back which I do not like. The grip on this crystal is way better than the Frosty and removing the case from the phone is also way easier. The case is Ok, but I'm already out of it. If anyone wants a deal on a Crystal Gen 5 just let me know?

Back in the Phone Rebel after a week or so in the Sheath. The Sheath is a very good case, and no offense to the Sheath faithful, but to me the PR feels so much more premium, with better fit, better grip, better buttons, and far better protection while also being thinner in the grip area. Downsides are the weight and the fingerprints. As always, YMMV.

Green version arrived today and it’s every bit as good as I expected it to be. Lovely feeling in the hand, clicky buttons and fits the phone perfectly. An absolute bargain at £7.39 ($9.40)! Thanks again for your photos and recommendation.

My blue one arrived today. Not for me. But too bulky for me personally but for £7 it’s great quality.

Really like the buttons and camera protector but it’s just a tad too bulky for me.

That’s a fair point, it’s definitely the bulkiest case I own but the weight sort of makes up for it. It’s probably the best made cheap case I’ve ever seen.
