A few words of warning about Onotone. A few weeks ago I ordered a case from Onotone which I ended up not liking at all. It's been over two weeks and my return request is still processing. It also took them about 10 days to even ship my order after I placed it. I'd avoid ordering anything from them no matter how cool their designs may look. I've sent them an email to ask what the heck is going on with my order.

A loss of $40 isn't going to break the bank, but it'll definitely prevent me from ordering from a less well known case company direct again. I should have asked on here if anyone had heard of them before. It's been a long time since I've dealt with customer service this bad.

Yeah, Phone Rebel needs to fix their shipping rates. For me it's $20 just for a case and $30 for Case + buttons.
People dislike how expensive Pitaka is but it's cheaper than a Phone Rebel for me.

Unfortunately, that's international shipping for you. I occasionally have to order water cooling parts from Germany or car detailing products from the UK (brands not sold in the US like SiRamik), and shipping can easily be a high percentage of the cost of the item(s) unless I cross a threshold of a few hundred dollars to make it free shipping.

If you've ever priced out shipping something international as a person, like returning a case to Decoded, the shipping can be $50+ USD and exponentially more expensive the larger the box gets. For it to be under $/£ 20 doesn't sound so bad to me if it's something I really wanted.

The problem is you don’t know whether you’ll like it or not, so if you decide to return it you’re paying for the initial shipping to you and also the shipping returning it.

I ran into that with Decoded and their clear case. The return shipping was more than the cost of the case. I'll only get their products from Amazon from now on.

I don't know, man. I had to return 2 cases to Phone Rebel and it only cost me $13 to ship it back to them. That's less than half the price for them to ship to me.

I don't know what to tell you then. I imagine the price is primarily dictated by whoever the shipping service is and what kind of contract (if they have one) they have with Phone Rebel. For whatever reason the return shipping is cheaper. It's odd but it is what it is.

I was nervous when I ordered the Ryan London open bottom but not so nervous because of the good reviews about them.

They got back to me right away and said they were going through some issues with their ticketing system. Either way, they took care of it right away and refunded me minus the shipping fee of $6.49.

What made you go with open bottom vs closed bottom?
First I’ve read the leather is better. Second I saw posts with the gap you can see with the closed bottom at the port opening.

I’m happy with my open bottom no issues with comfort as others have posted.

I ordered a Lucky coin from Amazon, will be getting tomorrow. Just want to compare the RL to the Lucky.
