Is it just me or are there no official XR cases yet?

Official ones are usually timed to release right before the phone does if I recall and since that phone is on delay until October....
[doublepost=1537046694][/doublepost]This one is stuck on Coming Soon but I think I will try to hold out...

As for Apple Cases, no tangerine in XS Max Leather :( so probably a basic black one.

how do they hold up as far as looking dirty or worn (the leather ones that get really nasty looking after a couple of months)

They'll start to show wear around the edges after a while.

I normally go for Apple Silicone one, but this time I’ve gone for the Cape Cod Blue leather. Looks really nice in the pictures. Pick up from my local store on Wednesday.

I have a spigen liquid crystal clear glitter case on order. But I’m also debating getting an Apple red silicon case or a tough case from redbubble - but I can’t find many recent reviews on them. The redbubble would be more fun, but I know apple’s cases are good (though I’ve really just used spigen the last several years). Both of those would cover the gold and that makes me sad.

Ugh, so many options.

Will a case for the X fit the XS?

As far as I know ( I think I read it in an other accessories thread here somewhere) the microphone layout changed slightly so if the case has precise cutouts they have to adjust the case for a perfect fit, otherwise it might be a little off... so I guess it really depends on the case cutouts...( the dimensions of the phone didn’t change...)

For now I'll use this case: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07G7TMFBK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 -- but I'm waiting for the Spigen 6.5" with kickstand (still clear case) for later.

I love the Saddle Brown leather case, but I run and am out on dusty trails and don't want it to get all sweat/water damaged so most likely I'll stick to a thin clear case of some sort. I *might* case swap and get the leather one at some point though, but it's easier just to grab and go with one simple case.

Just recieved my Spigen Liquid Crystal Clear today for my iPhone Xs Max. I've used this brand and style on all my phones. £7.99 on Amazon. I've ordered a stone silicone Apple Case too

Just recieved mine and it looks good. We have this brand and style on all the five iPhones and Samsungs in our house.

Have you got a link for the spigen on amazon, I can only find the one for the Xs not Max.

Nevermind, found and ordered it

I'm going with a Pelican Voyager case...I'm paying over $1200 for this phone. I need great protection against unexpected events. I can understand why pay for a case that provides minimal protection....

apple silicone case. nothing beats it. gives sufficient protection. dropped my X multiple times and the phone was not damaged.
Is the Apple case “sticky?” In other words, is it hard to pull out of the pocket because it “grabs” the pocket liner?

Well, that is the big question I have...

after a sleepless night deciding which phone to get ( settled on the Xs) I now have the even bigger problem which case and which screen protector I‘ll buy...

Right now I think I might get the otterbox symmetry clear one with the otterbox alpha glass... but I don’t know about the fit and for that price I want it to be pretty good... ;) I have never used any ottbox accessories so I don’t know...
Always used Spigen cases and actually never went wrong with them...
Getting the phone on launchpad doesn’t make it easier cause there aren’t any reviews... :/

For me choosing the right case +screen protector is really the hardest thing to do...

Amen to that! It took me no time to decide on the XS Max 512 for two reasons:

1. It is a similar physical size to my iPhone 8 Plus.
2. I can get 512 GB meaning I can now put my entire music collection in lossless format on my iPhone.

Now the case has been such a problem, I ordered two.

As soon as my pre-order went through I ordered an Otterbox Statement series case. Totally love that case. I have 1 on my iPhone X & I love the way it looks exposing the back of this gorgeous phone via the clear back & it’s very durable (great protection).
How did that case hold up? Did it it yellow or scratch easily? I’m really interested in that one but couldn’t find anywhere how durable they were.

Nice thing is, I already have two of them and they fit all my phones, no matter the year or model.
