How are you getting along with the SlipperySuit?

Honestly I’m loving it. I don’t really find the case very slippery, but I do think the case itself is kinda wide compared to the otter box symmetry.

So far it’s going to be my daily driver.

I do hate the brushed steel version I had before this... the material on the “brushed steel” felt like one of those holographic bookmarks they sold st the book fair when I was a kid lol.

Ok, here is a picture of the Navy Blue Sheath XS I just got. Really they're still selling the X case for the iphone XS, but it should give you an idea of the color.

Pause: I don't have the paper clip icon here so it looks like I can't actually post the 2 pictures I took. If someone can tell me how to post the pics, without using the url method, I'll update this post. Otherwise, I can email them to you if you want to message me.

Like the Sheath so much I'm tempted to order the other colors.

What color?
Here the UAG PathfindAH Carmine! Love the color! For such a rugged looking case, it really is superthin, especially on the sides, but seem to have a little more blocking us at the top and the bottom... were counts. The lip for the screen is relatively generous, but honestly you don’t even notice it! So far this is the best I’ve gotten. Super tactile looking, stylish yet protective!

Sorry, the fiancé is at work, so I don’t have a second phone to take pictures of the phone in the case... I’ll update!

Nice, one of my favorite cases. I also love that the slate & carmine have the blacked out lettering on the back.

You might need to try the blacked out Monarch, also a fantastic case.

not to be a defender of Caudabe (they have been great to me except very slow to respond sometimes due to busyness) but i did get an explanation. the current case for the XS is indeed designed for the XS (in particular the camera cutout), but they made a decision to keep symmetric ports on the original design because they thought the "rumored" assymetry didn't look right. but, the XS case, regardless of port cutouts is a different case than the X model else the camera cutout wouldn't fit properly.

Ill look into that!

Which speck is that? Do they have a bunch of colors? ...what have I gotten myself into.

I started with the sup case unicorn beetle (got scratched and looked horrible in under a week) then I got a UAG monarch (was not a fan at all) moves on to the evutech kevlar (the rubber coating around the edges started peeling within a week). The phone has not been dropped even once. I have had the saddle brown apple leather for a couple days and it’s far and away my favorite case I’ve ever owned. It has a premium feel and look to match this device. I can’t wait to see it change color and character over time. I should have been buying apple cases all these years..

Is there any difference between the old XS Sheath version and the new one besides the cutout? I thought I read here that the new version also has a change to the case thickness/feel.

I got the notice earlier this week from Speck that they were in stock and just hadn't gotten around to ordering it. It was one that I was waiting to try ever since they announced their Xs Max lineup, but hadn't been available since launch. Didn't realize that Amazon had them in stock. I just ordered the pebble gray and it will be here on Friday.

What is the real difference between that one and the presidio pro? They look similar? Same texture finish. Maybe the PP has more drop protection due to the impactium

not as far as i am aware of, with the caveat that nobody has the new XS Sheath model in hand yet. but based on what XS Max folks have said having handled/owned both versions, the only thing that has changed is the cutout for the asymmetric speaker holes.

Hmm just tried on a speck grip. I know they’ve been out there for awhile but that case still feels best in hand to me of anything I’ve tried. I ordered the dark gray one but just stopped in ATT to see if they had anything i haven’t been looking at and the grip is the case i keep coming back to.

The Mujjo leather i hope holds close to that as i like that look better but the grip isn’t as wide as my solidsuit.

I guess that pad and quill leather case is closest to the iPhone 5s leather case we all miss. But with all the seams.

Why cant someone just make a slim leather case with a bottom.

Using the apple leather today and open bottom kills me.
