Got the Mujjo and the Speck Grip. Man, surprised there isn’t more love for the grip. The grip is just so good and when I’m handling these larger phones that is a top 2 priority for me. The Mujjo is nice but i think I’m going to send back. It smells nice and fits well but there is almost no lip and the case is pretty thin. It feels like a scratch protecting case not a drop one. And it’s grip, which may get better with time once it gets the oils in it is pretty slick out the box.

I have the black grip- which I like. I also like the green/black one too

The navy/black and green/black were tough for me to choose from. If dbrand didn’t hurry up, I may order one of those colors in addition to this gray grip. I think I’m done until something f new comes out. Not sure anything else out there excites me as of now.

It just handles so good , I can look past that.
The solid suit is the best most stable feeling case. Or solid, if you will. The grip just handles perfectly.
Oh man, now you got me thinking about looking into these. How’s the width on this bad boy... that green and black look slick!

I like the Grips, a lot, I just wish they didn’t turn my pockets inside out LOL

I tried a Grip with my 7+ and that was the reason I ended up getting rid of it. I appreciate a greater "grip" but not when it grips my pockets just as much as my hands.

I'm waiting to see if Otterbox has any black friday discounts before I buy that black Vader case. FYI they currently have a 10% discount code but the Vader would still be about $50 and thats a bit more than I'm will to spend right now.

Passed the jeans test today. Are y’all talking slacks?

I don’t wear skinny jeans tho

My ATT store had the navy and green and solid black. I had already ordered the gray from amazon. May pick up another locally.

Check local Target, Best Buy, Wal-Mart and Nordstrom Rack if you have any around you. They have a nice assortment of Speck but they package them differently for all their retail accounts. At Target & Wal-Mart, the grip is a $19.99 retail. Can't speak for the local color assortment though.

i've been struggling to pull the trigger on the Speck even at the low price. it just felt a little bulky for my tastes. i ended up with 5 cases for my iPhone 7, and i'm trying to avoid that scenario again ;)

still loving my Sheath and patiently waiting for the new version to ship (last i was told was sometime next week)...but i really do want to find a discounted slim Symmetry for my XS..but even then, i wonder if i will end up just falling back to my Sheath.

for my iPhone 7, after having 2 Lucite cases (clear and smoked grip model), Otterbox defender, apple leather, Tech21 Evo, i ended up just using the smoked Luvvitt case and the Defender saw use twice when i went to the mountains..but even in my last couple backpacking trips, i just threw caution to the wind and stuck with my Luvvitt case. i may have to teach myself to "rotate cases" like the rest of you :)

Naw. That’s my crappy icarez 2.5d that I got last week. It won’t adhere. The first one I installed had huge bubbles I couldn’t get out after 2 days and this one I thought went on perfect but the sides on the right side, top and bottom, won’t adhere properly.

The case is linked in my previous post to the pics.
I had the exact same issue. I contacted their support and had them send me two replacements and after going through a total of 8 of their screen protectors I switched to the Tethys just like you did. The clarity isn't quite as good as the iCarez but at least it adheres.

I have the Speck Candyshell Grip for the iPhone 6+ and loved the grip of it, but like you, it felt a little bulky to me. In the end, used a Zugu (called Zoogue back then) iphone case for the remaining time with my 6+ before upgrading to my next phone. I believe the Zugu case is thin like the Caudabe Sheath.

With my XR, I'm also trying to avoid buying too many cases. I'm currently using the Ringke Fusion (which I also have for my 6+) because of a hot deal. Realistically, at most I should just get the Caudabe Sheath and be done with it since its closes to my case preference. I'm toying with the idea of getting one thicker case (like the Mous Limitless 2.0 or the Pitaka MagCase Pro) to see if I can live with a thicker case..but based on my previous iPhone experience, I'll end up using a thinner case with good grip. =P

Did Otterbox have a Black Friday sale last year? If so what was the discount?
my searching of email archives suggest it last year, on Cyber Monday, they had a 25% off +free shipping sale.

if they have that, i'll probably pull the trigger on the Symmetry

can anyone comment on the slippery-ness of the texture back of the standard case vs the Darth Vader/Star Wars ones?
