Another $4 hybrid with pretty damn good reviews. Although probably mostly fake.

I got the Simply Carbon Fiber Armor today. Yea... it’s going back too. Makes the phone feel huge. Starting to lose all hope!

Might get the Monarch again. I wanna see if I can track down an Evutec at Target to see if I like it. Otherwise..... I guess Monarch. Maybe???? Man I dunno.

man it feels really good, going to do my video review on it tomorrow but I have already but my SolidSuit up. Fit it sure tight and the grip is decent, the only downside it I wish it had a little more lip protection but it does have some slightly raised edges on the top and bottom.

Went on Best Buy.com and saw Presidio grip on blu black for only 11.99 (for XS. They had black too for that price but I decided to diversify my portfolio)

Couldn’t resist. Figure it may serve as my beefier case (rather than looking for an Otterbox defender on Black Friday) when I go backpacking.

Of course can always return it to brick and mortar store if I have buyers remorse.

Sigh... u guys are killing my wallet.

I loved the evutech in every way up until after a week of normal use the rubber coating started lifting from the main structure of the case. It’s a shame. You can kind of feel that’s going to happen when you hold the case. Just didn’t think it would happen so fast.

I'm very happy with The Modified Sheath...The Sheath is already Grippy but Modified takes it to the next level.

Which case will you be getting for your new XS/XS Max? [MERGED]

I got a Sheath for ths XS recently. There is a lot to like about the case. Oddly, i find the case to be pretty slippery. I see lots of other folks calling it grippy. In the car, i set it on the armrest console and one time it went flying at a slow stop. Another time it fell off just from the car vibrations during normal highway driving. I also find it slippery in my hand.

I am not disputing others claim that its grippy. Maybe i have a defective case? Maybe its just more slippery than the other cases ive owned lately (totalle shear case, shock-tech clear case, tech21 Evo).

I may have to try Husker’s scuffing it up procedure.

I just pick up the evutec aer for the xs max, I got it mainly for the magnetic mount but now that feeling make me want the pitaka mag. But $50 and the mount would be +$65 haha
Pitaka makes the best thin case I've used for the X but the price is steep

Hi,

Will someone be kind enough to post pics of Solidsuit leather with red buttons.

Just want to see which combo looks better.

Classic Black with red buttons or Black Leather with red buttons.

TIA

I think it depends on the size of the phone. When I had the Sheath for my X it was perfect. When I got it for the XS Max I find it more slippery. It’s still the case I keep on cuz I haven’t found anything better.

Last time I had a plus size phone I used the UAG, so I might go back to that.

Yea, several pages back I posted some pictures of the SS Leather with orange buttons and the SS Classic with red.

Here are one of each.

I received the Speck Candyshell Fit. Overall I like it. Comparing it with the Stormtrooper Symmetry that I picked up last week, it is slightly deeper on the back but actually feels thinner on the sides when in hand. Fit on the phone is tight and no sagging around buttons or bottom. It’s just as snug as the Symmetry. As far as grip, the Symmetry offers better grip on the sides, but the Candyshell Fit has better grip on the back. The Symmetry doesn’t offer as much resistance to my finger when sliding it in the back. The best way to describe the material is a hard rubbery plastic, if that makes sense. Buttons on the Candyshell Fit are very good. Very clicky and responsive. Not mushy at all. Nice lip protection as well. The one downside that I’ve already noticed is that the case material is slightly prone to showing oil from fingerprints on the back and I’ve had to wipe the back a couple times in the past day, however it’s not nearly as bad as they show on my Evutec Karbon. I’ll be keeping this case in my rotation. Some crappy iPad pics below.

Slapped the Crashguard back on today.....oooooh the feeling of that glass back, love it. Same Pittsburgh Steelers setup as the SS, yellow buttons in addition to the yellow frame insert on the back (pictures posted somewhere way back in this thread).

Nice, I want the Antifreeze Yellow version of this.

Just saw a deal on the OB defender pro at Walmart for roughly $42. My wife grabbed it for me. Far more protection than I need but I like that there is no apple hole on this one
