Serious question, how often do you guys actually use volume buttons? I use power button and instinctively know where it’s at. Never use volume buttons. Mute switch occasionally but
All the time when watching media.
MAJOR deal breaker on this case.

How hard is it to find 3 buttons
Over the years I’ve felt I had to compromise button feel on most cases. To me (haven’t used Solidsuit), Sheath and speck are very good and acceptable. Wish they could replicate the naked button feel. Does the SS manage to do that?
The SS is the standard for all case buttons. They feel like the actual buttons with a satisfying click.

Ended up getting the sheath with their 35% off... about to see what all the hype is about lol
my other beef about the Speck Presidio Grip, similar to most cases, is the camera is not symmetric around the camera hole for the XS (something you XS Max folks don't have to contend with). i guess this proves i'm a bit OCD i really like the tight and proper fit of the Sheath in this regard.

Otterboxes are on sale at Bestbuy. Just checked the app. My symmetry was 40% off so I grabbed it. I’ll most likely return the Speck now.
Went with another casetify case...this one makes the phone bulky and heavy. The lip on front is sharp and not smooth. It actually feels like it’ll cut your fingers, it’s so sharp. You definitely feel it when swiping it from the bottom. It was super hard to put on and take off. I would not trust it during a drop. It does still work with wireless charging. Shipping took exactly two weeks even though it’s from Los Angeles. Beautiful case, love the waterfall cascading glitter effect, but not worth the $49.

OtterBox Defender - it's the grippiest, most protective case. It's the only one with real front lip protection. The trade off is it's a little bigger than other cases but well worth it for the protection you get.

Lol you know those buttons are really flush compared to all those other cases you have Hooter.
Absolutely, but it's still one of the best all around cases for the Max. Have about 20 different cases and always find my phone back in the Symmetry within a day or two after taking it off.
