After much debating, I’ll be keeping the solidsuit as a more rugged case, the apple leather for slim classy-ness and this as a slim 360 case:

Ringke Onyx Designed for iPhone Xs Max Case Contouring Edge with Diuturnal Protection Smartphone Cover [Instant Compatibility with Qi Wireless Charging] for iPhone Xs Max 6.5" (2018) - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GYNH5C9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_B0c9BbSV3AZPA

Killer looks, 360 protection for the camera, bottom cutouts, and screen (the top and bottom lips are a little higher than the sides for better face down protection. It’s a little slippery in had, but feels great to me! Great value for under $10!
Funny, that was the case I bought before I even had the phone. It really is pretty nice for under $10. I might just have to go dig it out now. :)

ordered a green sheath, will put a picture as it comes in today. Also, using the evutec case from target with a blue cloth and leather at the back. Nice grip to the phone unlike the Supcase I had from amazon(which is on its way back). The evutec is clearly twice as heavy as any other case which I think is a result of the magnetic back to use the car mount(a plus for someone like me who use magnetic air vent mounts).

Anyone have the Caudabe Sheath in green for the Max? Can you post a picture?

Tempted to order one but not sure how ugly the green is.
I’ve ordered one, but I’m in Australia so won’t expect it for a few weeks. The uglier the better when it comes to camo green (joke). I’m hoping it’s more khaki/olive than green.

Already loving it. The green color is really looks really amazing under any light. With the screen protector on it looks like the lip on it is absent but I guess that is the whole point of this case, being minimalist. The grip is very confidence inspiring while not feeling rubbery at all. In all, crazy slim case I would recommend anyone with these phones to have. I felt bad that I ordered before the sale started at full price but this case is worth every bit.
OK some pics now.(this is a XS max)

Thanks for the pics. I notice that they did not revise the bottom cutouts on the green version.
I'm liking the green color though.

To those Sheath XS Max owners who have received the revised version, drop me a line if you’d like to get rid of your old one. I’m located in the US.

Thanks

Is anyone using Specks Presidio Pro on their X/XS or Tech21’s Evo Luxe leather?

I would like to know your thoughts.

I’m currently using the Otterbox statement for my XS, and whilst it offers good protection, I don’t get how Otterbox get away with marketing it as scratch resistant.

Scratches all over the plastic on this case, it hasn’t received any significant drops.

The Otterbox symmetry in black looks tempting, but the slick back puts me off. Also, if any US readers are considering the symmetry in cosmic blue which is exclusive to Target, it looks nothing like as it does in the photos! More of a turquoise colour.

I have the speck grip and pro in black for my max. The pro would be my perfect case, but it shows hand grease and finger prints more than the grip.

From the pics I have seen, it looks like the perfect case if it wasn’t for the fact that it shows marks!

What’s the build quality like? Has it held up well and does it feel cheap?

To answer my own question. The only Caudabe Sheath for the XS or XS Max that is shipping with asymmetrical cutouts is the black version. Green and blue still have last years symmetrical cutouts.

Glad I didn't order the green or blue just yet. o_O

Boduguardz has some nice cases at half off. At half off they are pretty good. I ordered the Shock case this time, always ordered Ace before so thought I’d try something different.

its a nice case, only issue is the back can be a bit soft touch and can show wear and tear

And if you use the code NOCRACKS you will get another 15% off. (65% off total)

Ordered the Shock and Ace Pro. At these prices with free shipping it's a no brainer.

I really like it. Good speck quality and durability. Only issue is the finger printing

For the Specks Presidio Pro, do you think over time, the Presidio Pro will get that slimy/oily/sticky thing that some of theses "soft touch" cases gets? My Target had the Presidio Pro on display and I liked the feel of the case. But I've had other brands of cases with similar material..and over time, the case gets kinda gross with all the hand oils it picks up.

Same thing. I can’t see where to add a code now

Definitely possible. I would hope it would last a little longer. I equate it to the apple silicone and believe it will last similarly.
