Anyone have the Nomad Rugged for the XS Max? How are the buttons/what kind of screen lip (or lack of) are we taking about. I canceled my order, but I just packed my SS to head back to amazon, and now I’m wondering if it’s worth a try.
I have the old thinker version of the Rugged for iPhone X. The buttons are great and the lip is good (even with a glass screen protector). The only downside is the thickness...
After reading/watching some reviews of the new thinner version, it seems like the lip decreased a lot to be minimal and the buttons got a bit worse. I think Hooterville just ordered one, so he can maybe post a small review when he gets it.
Just for you. Vader top, Rhino bottom. The Vader buttons do look better than the Rhino.

Do all the newer Symmetry cases now have removable buttons?
I had one and returned it. It’s a nice case, the buttons are decent but not as good as the solidsuit and there’s less lip than the solidsuit but better grip. I still have and usually use the solidsuit.
I ended up buying the mini Vader and a switcheasy glass case, couldn’t resist the Black Friday sales.
I think I know what’s going to end up happening. I’m going to get annoyed with the shiny Vader logo and buy a regular symmetry then switch out the buttons.

That's my perfect case the regular black Symmetry case with the red Vader buttons. Don't care about Star Wars or Darth Vader, just the red buttons.
Put the yellow buttons in my black Symmetry and the combo was not that great looking.

Damn it....Best Buy deals. Ended up with th OtterBox pursuit. Pleasantly surprised. Mobilereviewseh was right about it. Nice case.

I like it too, but can’t use a full screen protector with it. Her review was spot on.
It is far better than I thought. The fit is exceptional, although it takes forever to put together. And it works with my screen protector. I’m greatly impressed, and this is by far the best OtterBox I’ve seen for my phone.
Pure gear glass. I got it at T-Mobile. Works well and plays fine with the pursuit.
I had the evo check. It was ok, just crazy fingerprinting.
Wearing that today actually. Specific questions? Kind of slick, fits a lot tighter than previous years, out of box the buttons are SUPER stiff. Not a bad case by any means but nothing extraordinary. Not terribly grippy but phone feels safe in it. I like material it’s made from.
Almost fumbled the SlipperySuit twice on a quick trip to WalMart, Back in the Symmetry the second I get home.
The BB my house is desolate of cases post Black Friday lol I went in to gather my instore pickups and tried peeking. They told me the hottest case was Midget Vader requests wise FYI
Received the “updated” sheath for the XS today. It doesn’t have the right cutouts for the mic holes. Also received a blue sheath and it doesn’t either which I was aware wouldn’t. Still a bummer the black updated version doesn’t, hopefully it was just a mistake and they sent the wrong one.

That’s disappointing. They were supposed to get new ones. Mine doesn’t arrive until wed. Hopefully yours is just a mistake that can be corrected.
