Did anyone see the fine print in the Caudabe Black Friday.

Except the synthesis for iPhone XS Max. Please stop asking about those - we’ll cry

I have a grey synthesis for the XS was that I used for a few days, really good button feedback and look, but I like the sheaths grip better so it’s time to get rid of my synthesis.

Received my Caudabe Sheath and love it. Nice and slim. The texture is rough enough to give enough grip without grabbing the pockets. The lip is just slightly higher than my tempered glass..so I do wish the lip was a little higher. The sides are stiff enough and not floppy.

Overall, I see why people like this case as do I. I’ll see how the Loopy Case functions but for now, I’ve found my daily case.

Looks great! Got my Vader today. I really like everything about this case except the flushness of the buttons. The smooth back of the special edition cases was a bad idea. It shows finger prints. Looking forward to making this exact combo shortly when my plain black symmetry comes in. Thanks for the pics!

Was you Vader case bowed? Laying flat on it’s back with no phone is it flat or does it have a slight bow?

Everyone I’ve seen so far is bowed including the one I have.

From the pics it looks like the back might be slick on the synthesis. But the sides with the different material and lines seem like they should be grippy. Would love to hear your thoughts since I am contemplating getting a synthesis for a little more Protection over the Sheath.

Else I may revise symmetry (which has slick back but very grippy sides)

Well on the synthesis the tpu material for the sides actually comes up a little on each corner, not only giving you a flat lay on the table design, but also minimizing the back getting scratched up and better resistance from sliding on the table

So ur r satisfied with side grip but don’t like slickness of back while in your hand?

Do u think their 2m drop rating is legit?

Oh, no the slickness is fine, its not that bad. never dropped it, I just like the thinner profile of the sheath more.

As for drop protection, I have an easier time believing the synthesis would survive a 2m drop than the sheath, but still iffy on it. the highest I've dropped it is about 4 feet onto concrete while running and it was fine. so Im not worried about breaking the phone at all in the case. I have it coupled with an iMOS 3d screen protecter if that helps anyone.

Gotcha. I love my Sheath and may be better off just leaving well alone.

Received the “updated” sheath for the XS today. It doesn’t have the right cutouts for the mic holes. Also received a blue sheath and it doesn’t either which I was aware wouldn’t. Still a bummer the black updated version doesn’t, hopefully it was just a mistake and they sent the wrong one.
Got my black sheath for my Max wednesday, 3 days after I ordered it. Cutouts are correct. Great grip. Plus, got it with the 35% discount. My favorite case.

Not to be a party pooper but you haven’t noticed the rocking when on table of this case? Is the regular symmetry like this too? The top and whole right side rocks for me.

can you please suggest me a transparent case (or cases) for XS Max that will not get yellowish in time and not that bulky?
I have never used such big iPhone before, used 3.5" and 4" iPhones and lastly I had iPhone 8. also, the case should not interact with the screen protector.

Check out the Totallee Clear Case.

I'm in the regular black Symmetry and no rocking at all. 100% nice & flat (just checked).

I did not notice it while in the Vader either.

Welp. That was fast. I’m done with the symmetry. I just can’t deal with those flush buttons. I can’t find them and it’s hard to push them when I do. It’s because you aren’t just pressing the buttons you are pressing the whole side of the case because it’s so flush. RIP.

Back to the SlipperySuit.........................
