Which case will you be getting for your new XS/XS Max? [MERGED]

Bodyguardz Ace Pro case. Sides a little slick but no oil slick on the back due to a fine dot matrix pattern on the inside. :eek: Buttons stiff as a board.

This is Bodyguardz answer to the Caudabe Synthesis case. o_O

Nice looking case though.

Does anyone have any experience with the Krusell Broby leather case? It looks like it might be a leather version of my favorite case (Pitaka MagCase). I just can't tell if the leather is of good quality (and if the website is even legit). Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The prices are all in EUR (unless I'm on the wrong version of their site) and there is a 30% Black Friday sale going on now. They actually have some interesting case options, specifically the Tanum Cover, Broby Cover, and the Sandby Cover.

Did anyone use the Pitaka MagCase Pro with the magnet attachment? Strong?

I kinda want a solid magnet for the air vent and a decent protective case. Keep looong for Evutec and Mous but maybe Pitaka. All have fingerprint issues, right?
 
As has recently been mentioned here, i personally just ran across the Silk Kung Fu Grip cases on Amazon. I have been a fan of the Cadaube Sheath cases, but did not like the “older” version produced for my work-issued iPhone 8. Came across the Silk and purchased it for the 8. Gotta say, i really like it. Recently upgraded personal phone from X to XS and am waiting on my Sheath, so bought the Silk from Amazon (Prime) to get me by.

Will say, I don’t find either Silk case flimsy or that they pull from the phone easily. Granted, the XS case is only hours old.

The Silk cases are thicker that the Sheaths and have much more lip, even with a glass screen protector on.

Dang it folks. I need feedback from this thread’s drug users on the Mous. Why ain’t no one using the Mous?

I can’t tell how bulky it will be on the Xr. If it’s as wide as the solidsuit.....

I’ve seen threads on here and within Macrumors that wasn’t very kind to Mous cases however I’ve never owned one or seen one in real life so unfortunately I can’t be of assistance. I do like the look of the wood model though

Well, i had given up on Evutec since their web page today didn’t even acknowledge the Xr, but that page is up and working now. Finally some Xr Evutec cases. I like their mount the best, and it’s free!

That’s funny, the day I got mine for Max in store was day before they officially released and caused chaos with them finding it etc and first time they brought one out it was inadvertently for XR so I’m sure the XR ones are/have been out and about. That was a month ago or better not. Not even sure XR was out yet

Edit: Oct 13 was day I got my Evutec for Max that they accidentally brought out XR version in store.

You’ve probably responded about it. But which version do you have and how do you like it? How’s the grip and the lip?

I have the Karbon for Max. Back semi slick, sides grippy. I would say buttons are excellent, facedown lip isn’t too great. It’s a “light duty” by all accord, but excellent in comparison to Pitaka for the price IMO. Easily one of my top 5s. I don’t think it’s drop rated but small drops I’d say would be fine. It is not bulky in slightest and super slim.

Think it’s just “military drop “ rated. I want that mount.

I normally hate wood cases but actually like the pics on their site of the wood case.
