My phone is back in the Sheath. While I really, really liked the Totallee glossy clear (soft) because of how thin it is and how nice the phone looked inside the case, I found myself handling the phone gingerly because I was afraid of dropping it. I had absolutely no confidence in its protection, so I was constantly worried of the phone slipping out of my hand. (I have a 5-year-old niece that likes to use my phone to play Minecraft and ROBLOX, so that doesn't help.) I think I also missed the weight a slightly thicker case gives the phone. I know it sounds weird - I'm worried about dropping my phone but like a heavier phone - but the weight gives me a sense of security for some reason.
That doesn't sound weird at all. I have the same two cases and use the Sheath when I think the phone may be handled a little rougher. I love the light weight of the Totallee, but sometimes prefer the slightly heavier/sturdier feel of the Sheath case. If I had kids playing with my phone, the Totallee would be outta sight on those days for sure...

But there are no kids around today, so I am enjoying the Totallee. I love the look and feel, and I think it's actually a little more grippy than the Sheath.

Does it collect lint and is it hard to get into and out of a pocket?

Does collect Lint but I don’t notice it that much. I always take my case’s off and wash them at least once a week not because of Lint but because of oil, grease, dirt, smudges, whatever gets on them whether you see it or not it’s there.

I wear Levi’s Jeans almost every day, I don’t have much of a problem getting it out of my pocket. I wouldn’t want a case that slips in and out of pockets really easily.

I recently dropped my iphone xs max with the sheath case with an icares 2.5D on from a 4-5 ft drop. I got out of a lifted tundra and fell from my lap to the floor,
.... I thought it was done but to my surprised it came out unscathed. I kept the Uag monarch around cuz I was worried of drop protection too

Its nice to hear the Caudabe Sheath surviving drops! I forgot who posted a few weeks back of another iphone/Sheath accidental drop and the phone surviving unscathed as well. Kinda funny how a lot of us Sheath users are kinda unsure about actual drop protection..but the few stories so far has been positive in the protection department. :D

True but every fall is unique. Like a snowflake, lol.

Hard to believe the Sheath is better than Mous protection wise, but reading the last few days it would certainly seem that way.

Exactly. i am pretty sure (unless those videos posted are fake), the Mous will do better on a 1000 drops (enough to make orientation random) in comparison to the Sheath.

But, i am hoping that the Sheath in general is good enough and the risk of damage from a 3-4 ft drop is small. i scanned the iPhone X Sheath reviews before buying mine for the XS and there were many anecdotes of the phone surviving falls in that case. i'm sure no case is perfect (except maybe an Otterbox defender with screen protector (old style)), but some are better than others.

i am leaning towards just using my Sheath and hoping the odds are in my favor...

Loved them too. Tonight I’m using a carved and it’s ridged edges remind me of the Zoogue

Awww.. Thanks for contacting them!
I'm wondering if one lack of success is the looks. lol. I have to admit, the first time I saw the mention of Zugu and looked it up, I skipped out on it. But I see it mentioned here and there so finally gave it a try and love it.

One other thing that doesn't bother me, but I can see it bugging others is that, although the case fits tight, it doesn't fit as tight around the power and volume buttons. There is a slight give in those areas. If I were to gently squeeze the case on the top/bottom/sides, there is no noise. When I gently squeeze the case where the buttons are, it makes a clicking noise (similar to the noise Apple keyboards make) because I'm pushing the case in (I hope that makes sense). Again, it doesn't bother me, but I wanted to share things that others might dislike about this case.

Oh, I guess another thing I just thought of is that there is absolutely no way this case has any drop protection. No way. Don't even think about it.

I know it sounds like I'm bashing this case, but I really like it. This is probably my final case (unless they miraculously create the Xs Max version of the 5s Apple leather case). I want to be honest and fair by giving people a heads up on what to expect before they order.

Can you give me the link to purchase this case please ?

How tight does it fit? Those look very nice and they aren't too expensive.

I wouldn’t say super right; isn’t bad for on off but words can’t explain how solid it feels in hand. Not overly heavy, in my opinion. Decent buttons. Front lip not the best but overall very nice case for the money. Definitely not a “run of the mill” look either with them being so many choices.
