This Apple silicone case is so thin and flimsy.....it’s not going to help when my daughter tosses this phone. I’m gonna return it and use the speck.

I confirmed with Burkley that the case does not have auto sleep/wake. They responded within minutes to my email. Said it had to do with affecting magnetic strip on CCs, but others including Apple include this feature. Apple does include a note with their folio that cards should be placed in the folio so that the magnetic strip is closest to the hinge part of the case and away from the outer edge of the cover.

Apple sells an official Leather Folio case for iPhones that has auto sleep wake
Speck Presidio Leather Folio. Their website does not mention it, but their Amazon listing does. I ordered one hoping Amazon listing was correct, otherwise it goes back. Doesn't have detachable inner case, but I have not found one like that yet that I like and has sleep/wake function.

Just picked up the leather case in forest green from the Apple Store. It looks so damn beautiful, pics doesn’t do its justice.

So, I ordered the unlocked iPhone Xs Max (256) and its arriving tomorrow. Besides the apple cases is there a good option? getbearskin.com has a paint on case that looks interesting. Anyone know any other launch day options?

eBayer is located in Hong Kong and has a 96 percent rating which isn’t too good. It’s fake. I’ve gotten from same vendor for my X for colbalt blue and it’s easily fake. So slippery but looks real
Debating on ordering a Tottalee or a Peel thin clear case. Have to show off that gold.
Apple leather cases look damn good but no protection and Soo damn slippery
They get more grip as you use them.
Not anymore. Hasn’t been true since 7 and 7 plus era. They changed the way they make the leather going back to last year with the X. I hate the leather now.
