Which case will you be getting for your new XS/XS Max? [MERGED]

So far I've pre ordered three cases from Caseology thanks to the promo codes. Legion, Skyfall, and Vault. All three should be delivered Friday.

Also pre ordered the Spigen Ultra Armor clear, should be here Tuesday.

And lastly a Ringke Fusion on eBay. That should be delivered Monday.

Tons of cases to try out! Bought a bunch of clear cases since they can be really hit or miss. And then I'll decide between the Legion and Vault for the times I'll need a tougher case

What are our options for open bottom cases? Similar to the Apple cases but maybe with more protection? Swiping really does feel better without that lip there.

Thanks for the link! I’ll have to see which one I like between the Vault and the Legion. Do you like the grip on the Vault? From the pictures it looks like it should be gripy

FedEx delivered my (Product)Red Leather iPhone Max Folio today. The Apple folio I've used on my iPhone X is on the right. I put my driver's license & credit card in it. It is also a Smart Cover. Protects front & back well (I've dropped my X a few times & no damage) My X case still looks new...no color change, no scratches.

Originally was going to get the brown, but it is not available on either Speck or Amazon yet. Amazon said 1-3 month wait. Black case on Amazon says 2-3 month wait, but it showed up as in stock on the Speck site today (yesterday it only had an email me when available field). Better deal on Speck site as I got 15% off for being a new customer and no sales tax. I did upgrade to $5 2-day shipping also, but still got away cheaper than if I bought from Amazon. Hopefully it will be here the beginning of next week.

I had the Apple black folio case for my X and I liked it. I did have an issue with the plastic/rubber edging that surrounds the case. After about 9 months it came apart at the hinge and separated on the side. Wasn't too tragic and I could probably get it replaced by Apple under warranty, but since I'm turning in my X under the upgrade program I'm not going to bother.

My Apple red Leather Folio for my X still is perfect. Sorry you had issues.

It’s pretty grippy, at least definitely more than the phone itself

The cases look nice, but their website is massively annoying... popups etc begging you to let them spam/notify you... and the cases are metallic... I wonder how compatible they are with wireless chargers... they claim that they are compatible with "most" chargers, but one has to wonder.

i have the same case for my 8+ and love it. hated to give it up but when i saw it on Amazon for the xs max i had to grab it. had it for over a year and it has not stained or turned colors.

Thank you for the reply! That’s what I like to hear. I like the clear cases so I can show off the phone (duh lol). Do you feel it to be bulky or heavy in any way?

not at all, it’s very light. it’s easier to grip the phone than going caseless. to me it feels the same as having the leather case on it just better protection.

I got the case and it looks like a royal blue. I was hoping for a darker case like cosmos blue.

Loopy cases are amazing. Think I’ve had one for damn near every phone they make them for. Always just took it off to wireless charge. Beware cats chew loops. They sell a cat pack of extra loops lol.
 
Ordered Otterbox traction case and totallee case so far. Really want a loopy case again, had one on my 7 Plus years ago, was amazing lol
