Which case will you be getting for your new XS/XS Max? [MERGED]

Yes. Much more so than the presido from last year if you ever tried that. But the incipio dual pro still has more grip and less flash molding on the case. The problem is if the incipio takes a hard drop that plastic on the outside can break and peel off so maybe I won’t get that one again. Sorry I switched cases on you a bit lol.

I can't believe I'm having a harder time trying to find a case than I did deciding on which phone I wanted.
Haha that happens to me every year. Cases are tough purchases because most of us don’t actually want to use one. If we were all rich then we could just use the phone naked and buy a new one if it breaks. So I think we all nitpick and judge cases really hard because deep down we hate them lol.
I ordered the Carl Friedrik iPhone XS Max case. It’s a little more expensive than the Apple leather case with a 20% off coupon code (iPhoneXS). I have a wallet from them and the leather is thick and actually it smells like leather. This way my phone case and wallet will match.
Only bad thing is it doesn’t ship until October 31 so I won’t be getting it until November. I’m using a cheap clear case I got from Best Buy as a placeholder. :/

And want to give a thanks to this thread. I ordered a saddle brown leather case (will be my third from 7 --> X --> Xs max) but also discovered loopy cases here. I ordered one and I can't wait to get it! I think it's going to be especially awesome for handling the larger phone. Thanks all.

For anyone that has experience with mous cases...I know they lower some of the side lip for swiping gestures....do they do the same for the bottom lip for X swiping gestures?
No, that would be a great idea though. I have to say I'm pretty disappointed in Mous. I made a thread about this but their pricing schemes aren't very consistent. Just last week I ordered a case for my wife, $49 and I used a mobile reviews eh discount so the total price was only $44. Liked her's enough to want to buy one for myself but the price is now $59 and the discount doesn't work. Why raise the price $10? Was the first case underpriced or are the current prices just increased profits?
IMO for $40 these are good cases, but for $60 they're over priced.
I got a Spigen Liquid Air case.
It's very sturdy and fits like a glove (possibly a little too tightly, it feels like i'll bend the phone taking it on and off) but it is very slippy. Even with the textured back of the case its super slick.

Thanks for the quick responses regarding mous. I made the mistake of putting my Apple case back on. Not having that bottom lip is just too nice to pass up. I’m willing to give up protection in order to get it. That means Apple cases or VERY limited options for no name cases online somewhere.
So I ordere a Ringke fusion x black and clear.
Fix nice and seems good for drops but the corners have a
raised edge that extends down towards the center about a half inch.
Problem for me me is I hold the phone and these raidpsedmedes are pointy and it pokes into the palm f my hand.
It’s not comfortable at all.
Sending it back for a Spigen liquid crystal clear.

I received my Fitbag sleeve today for my gold Max - fits like a glove Also got one in dark navy blue - looks good together with the gold Max. I don't like cases - I prefer to use the phone as it was made and designed. But always store it in a sleeve when I'm leaving or going somewhere.

The ESR clear/silver case I got for my Max is a bust. It doesn’t fit around the button area on either side. It bows out. Now I need to find something on Prime cheap while I keep looking.
Just received my Caudabe Sheath for the Max today. It has the same, improved, texture as introduced for the X last year. Love it!!!
Pictures? I ordered one that should be coming in either late this week or early next.
My 6 plus lasted 4 years with that case. Wirecutter really did their homework recommending that case.
