I am also trying to resist the Carbon case, but having owned two Nomad cases so far it's hard, because the quality is so good!
I’m in the Apple store. This otterbox traction case is really nice but the colors are super ugly!

I totally agree on the traction. I was at my Apple store yesterday and while not a fan of clear cases, I could have been convinced if there wasn’t a “splash” of color. Ugly imo
My only deal breaker are the shipping costs to Europe, which are about $15. That's about half the case's price (with 10% off).
The buttons on mine are good indeed and I remember another user saying the buttons on his Rugged for XS Max are good too. I will try to find his post and quote it.

I've been very impressed with Apple's white silicone case after a couple of weeks. The black leather case has been my default for years, so I just wanted something different this time around.
It's been easy to clean and feels great in-hand. We'll see how well it holds up over time, but so far so good!

Currently my favorite case too. In black. It really does feel great. FYI if it wears poorly, like it peels or flakes or cracks Apple will replace it under the year warranty.
What's the Pitika like to take off the phone? I remember it being a bit tight to remove from my X.
It’s very tight, the fit isn’t exactly right as it’s slightly off at the top sides, I contacted Pitaka support who are sending another one out, they really do have excellent support.
They are out of stock on site at the mo although got mine from amazon UK.
When I get replacement I’ll let you know how it is.

Mobile reviews Eh said the NX has more texture but maybe he was comparing to last years Solid suit and not this years?
It is possible that Aaron at Mobile Reviews Eh was comparing the new Mod NX to the old SolidSuit, or we may have gotten review samples from different batches. But the two new SolidSuit cases for the Xs Max that I got (more are coming later this month in some of the other finishes) are definitely a bit grippier than the three Mod NX samples for the Xs Max they sent me. Both are definitely better and more textured than the previous year's versions, however.
Yeah, will do. Have ordered. I got a £15 discount as I ordered a Philips Hue light yesterday for delivery today that didn't turn up. Rang Amazon to complain as it now said Wednesday. They said they'd reschedule delivery for tomorrow and gave me a £15 credit! Amazon has great customer service if you can be bothered using it. I think most people don't bother but as a Prime member I always give them a call if I don't get the stated delivery date. Makes the Pitika case £29.
I have amazon prime and never complain, may have to start lol, got mine for £40 as they were doing an offer if you top up your account £40 you get £45. Let us know how the case fits, as I’m sure you’ll get yours sooner than I get my replacement!
