Yeah, me too! I know have the ‘old’ Nomad Rugged, which I love, and I was thinking about buying the updates version of that. However, I am considering this instead.

The quality of Nomad is always so good, but I promised myself to not buy any cases anymore... We will see. ;)

I had it in my cart last night but I am worried about the buttons. They look really flush to the case and the Nomad that I had before didn’t have the greatest button response.

I also have a case in my mailbox so I kinda figured I should at least try that one before buying a new one lol

So far this Silk grip case is the best I’ve used. Ive tried half a dozen cases including an apple leather case (why do they expose the bottom?? Ugh).

This Silk is just right between a thin and thick case. It’s not super thin where it won’t provide impact protection by its not super thick to be bulky.
The biggest win is the grip texture. It’s not rough but textured so the phone doesn’t feel like it will slip out of my hand if someone bumps me.

Wow that looks nice. Ugh I gotta stay out of this thread. How is the drop protection? Although I don’t have any issues with my Sheath, this piqued my interest. Well, this and that SolidSuit.

My first Rugged case didn’t have good buttons. So I contacted Nomad and they sent me a new one, which has very clicky buttons! So I think their new cases have good buttons.

I’m glad I decided to go with Apple’s saddle brown leather case. Today, I just received the Waterfield fused case to go with it and I’m really liking it. Worth the wait.

How are you liking the sleeve? What’s your common use for it? Do you use it in a front pocket or something else?

Dammit Thomas I’m trying NOT to buy cases. Lol! This one is high on my list. If the Sheath doesn’t work out then I’m going for it. Thanks.

Otterbox Traction for my XS SILVER. Love the grippiness on the side. I’m not worried about it falling out of my pocket

This! I posted about my experience with the Sheath last year with my X. I dropped it once & my glass screen protector chipped & cracked. So I switched to a different case. A couple months later, I gave the Sheath another shot. It was on my X since, until I upgraded to the XS Max. Dropped it a few more times with no issues. So maybe that first drop was just a freak accident. I like the Sheath so much that I went naked with my XS Max for about a week until my case came in, which is something I never do! The quality, fit, & feel is unmatched when it comes to such a slim case.

Mine just arrived, wow, love the feel of this case. Most cases to me are slippery, not the Sheath, great pebble feeling. Not sure I love the “camo green” and probably should have opted for black. Highly recommended!

Got my navy blue Sheath (XS Max). Have to say I am quite disappointed with the fit and finish. Don't get me wrong, the texture is nice and there are almost no seams, but it does not seem to fit evenly around the display. The two bottom corners have almost no lip and the entire bottom is molded unevenly. Also, the volume buttons are not aligned properly, which makes them unresponsive/mushy and there is a "chip" in the side of the camera hole.

Also, as mentioned before, the speaker cutout is too big.

Did you guys have similar experiences? I got the overall impression that Caudabe is usually one of the good ones. :(

Going to email them, but I won't expect much help, since I am from Europe and returning it does not make any sense.

I used the dark blue Spigen Liquid Air with my previous iPhone, but hey only offer it in black for the XS Max. I was hoping the Sheath would be a good replacement.

I wasn’t sure how the camo green would look in person, but took the plunge anyway. Wish it was a bit darker, more olive, then it would be spot on.

Shoot them an email and see what they say. I had an issue with my first one having a visible seam at the bottom. It wasn’t a big deal but I sent them a picture of it to see if it was ok. They just sent me another one and told me not to bother returning the one I had. Now that’s good service.

I got my Caseology clear waterfall last night in the mail. Its ok but well worth the 7 bucks I paid with my coupon. The only thing I don't like is the bottom feels greasy after using it and setting it on surfaces. Maybe I'm just a weirdo with germs but its fine for the price! My Element Illusion black case arrives tomorrow! I'll post some picks they always make awesome cases! I also have the UAG Monarch so I can post pics if anyone wants? Or post pics of the Caseology Clear Waterfall or the Apple Cap Cod leather case if anyone wants pics. Just let me know

mine is currently sitting in my mailbox. I got the black for my X. Looking forward to giving it a run

Just got my black Sheath for the XS fits perfecty almost like its just part of the phone. Send them an email and they’ll make it right.

Received the Sheath today.

Not as Grippy as the tech21-Check I'm currently using.

The camera cutout is misaligned slightly, I have to push rather hard to get it past the left side of the camera's raised lens protector.

The Tactile Feel of the Button's click is very good.

Definitely a thin case.

The small raised lip almost makes me nervous about the screen being too close to an uneven so-called flat surface but good enough!

Of the 3 Cases, I've tested so far this one is bar far the best looking.

I'm still looking for a Rubbery/Grippy/Tacky case about the same size as the Sheath.

H8 having to order then wait to determine If I like it...Oh-Well!...This will do until I find my Holy-Grail!

I'm surprised by the people who are saying the sheath doesn't fit. Is your an xs or a max? My max version fits great, I wonder if caudabe made the xs versions slightly off?

No offense meant here but those cases don't look that good and the "brush hybrid" cases don't even have a centered apple logo.

Just got the Totallee thin leather case. Do not care for it. The edges along the screen are sharp, and you can definitely feel it. And the leather in nothing more than a paper thin piece of leather, if it really is leather, glued on to the back of a thin case, leaving an ugly seam. The only positive, it is grippy. Guess I will stick with my knockoff Apple leather case I got for $8 on ebay, which looks and feels like my real Apple leather case I got for my X.

I had this case on my X and didn't use it as there is no lip for the camera like their non leather cases.

Tozo frosted white thin case from amazon. Very happy with quality and precision cutout.
