It is relatively thin compared to 8+ version I had last

What's your opinion of it compared to the one on your 8+? I had this case on my original iPhone X last year and the model this year feels like a downgrade in the quality with the plastic interior. I do appreciate that the buttons are easier to press though.

I haven’t got it... yet. Just fondled it in BB. Seemed nice and definitely a thinner profile than my 8+ version. Felt same on exterior to my 8+ version to me anyways.

Guys i've ended up buying a Speck Presidio Pro. It’s available on Amazon Italy, I really love the contrast between the light and dark grey of the case that match my Space Grey XS Max.
I seemed to understand, from your posts and reviews on the web / youtube, that the Presidios are good, have a good grip and offer good protection. Moreover it was on discount and I paid less than 30€ for it so...

I agree. Good grip and really good protection. A little bulky but not too bad. Great buttons.

I’m still going to look as I find the sheath just too thin. I love the grip but would prefer a little more to the case.

I love the thinness of my sheath just wish it was more grippy/tacky like rubber...I'm still looking for one. Found a few that claim to be grippy with their description's--> Liquid Silicone Gel Rubber!

Agreed. Emailed them today for an RMA. I’ve got my eye out for one of those new symmetry cases though. My silicone case is sticking to my pockets today. Right after I proclaimed my love for it lol.

LOL, I have the silicone back in my cart on amazon. I love the new blue color, but the pocket and lint issue are a killer.

TBH, I also have a symmetry in my cart too. They look nice, just concerned about the lack of rubber

I still think there is plenty rubber there to save the phone from drops. As long as those corners are protected then I think it will be fine.
[doublepost=1539025388][/doublepost]30% off speck cases today if anyone is interested.

if you have something handy to measure, i'm curious what the thickness of the phone in the case is.

(i want to compare it against the Silk Grip at 10.5mm)

As now i’m using a Spigen Neo Hybrid.
I’ll let you know if the Presidio Pro will be bulkier or not, but i'm really hoping it will not!

I have gone over 2 weeks with my Apple leather case. That’s the longest I have ever made it.

The feel with the 3D screen protector is fantastic.

Forest green leather should be in soon. Hopefully that will keep me leathering.

how thick is the Neo Hybrid?

i'm not hankering for the ultra thinnest phone (i'm glad Apple gave up on that trend and the more recent phones have gotten slightly thicker which is a win for battery life), but i feel the Silk is a little on the thick side although i'm not sure i want to go with the Stealth given the comments about it being unlikely to protect against a 6ft drop. (unless one really believes their marketing)
