Which case will you be getting for your new XS/XS Max? [MERGED]

It's still pretty slippery, but it's definitely more grippy than last years model. The back looks the same, but it has more of a texture to it.
Presido pro back on. Looks good and feels good. But it’s too hard to take on and off and has flash around the case that I can’t un see. Buttons are amazing though and I feel very very confident this could take big drops. I wish I had something to take nice pictures with like hooterville up there. Lol
Edit: also it rocks on a table from the camera hump. Which doesn’t make sense considering how thick it is.

Finally got my knockoff ElementCase in the mail and it's just alright. Didn't realize the sides would be white plastic (the relisted item on eBay says polycarbonate) and the back has no logo, just says "Tempered Glass". Was expecting it to be more like the knockoff I had for my iPhone 5 (full metal bumper) so I probably won't be using this too much since there isn't much side cushioning for drop protection. I do want to get the Simply Carbon with the forged carbon fiber back now that I've seen it.

Why get a knock-off Element case when the badass Element iPhone XS Max or XS Illusion case is amazing and costs around 35 bucks? Just curious. I'm rocking the Illusion case if you want pics let me know I love it and very impressed
Question about the speck case, what makes the PRO different? And does it have separate buttons like the Rhinoshield or newest Otterbox? What’s the outside like?

Just put the black symmetry on. Excellent, tight fitting case. Much thinner than previous yours.
Only 2 gripes- camera hole is a bit big and always hate OtterBox branding.
I am keeping it though. OtterBox customer service is second to none, so if there ever is an issue, they are great.

My buttons are almost flush with the case and a little hard to feel sometimes. Yours like this?

i noticed they aren't making a Nomad Carbon for the XS (i guess after realizing their X case isn't quite compatible with the XS :\ )

They did a great job tweaking this case from last year to this year. It’s amazing what making a case marginally thinner and making the buttons easier to press can do. I have high hopes that this is the last case I’m going to buy for the XS Max.

I've FINALLY found my perfect case that will be on my phone forever...and the thing is, its nothing new.
I don't know if they've ever been around for previous phones, but I just discovered the clear cases with the electroplating on all the edges! I've always hated to put just clear cases on my phone because it still just looks like I have the plastic on the couch appearance, but with this case, the silver edges make it look like there is no case at all! Nice and thin with just the very slightest lip to protect the front glass and just feels good in the hand.
Unfortunately I've already sold my old phone so I don't have a way to take a pic right now, but this is the stock photo on black. I have the silver phone so the white shines through the clear back while the silver edges keep that shiny chrome look. LOVE IT!

Want the green one also. Have the funky caramel color one coming for my daughter so I'll post a couple of pics when it shows up.

What are your thoughts on the back scratching the phone?
I am hopeful it won’t. I haven’t taken it off yet, but once I do, I will update here
I just took my phone out. No scratches yet. That back is hard plastic though so I see why you are a bit concerned. I think it will be fine unless some sand gets stuck in there and shifts around a lot.
Admit it, you took it off to swap cases, bored of the symmetry already

Lol! I switched cases 4 times today. But I haven’t switched yet since I put the symmetry on. Haha.I just liked the look of it with the (what I was was completely) metal bumper and glass back to see the silver of my phone. I knew going in that it was a total knockoff since the "Solace" isn't referenced anywhere from ElementCase. Like I said above, probably will get the Simply Carbon next because I really like the look of the forged carbon.
