Which case will you be getting for your new XS/XS Max? [MERGED]

I have the Symmetry and just bit the bullet and picked up the Midnight Blue Apple Leather case. I have found my home. Lol. This case is soooooo much thinner and sleeker. I’m very impressed
Finally received my Caudabe Sheath for my XS Max and put it on. This case is glorious and is perfect with the iCarez 3D glass screen protector. It's a minimalist case but has awesome texture and grip. The buttons are awesome too. I only wish Caudabe made the Sheath in white!
Got this at Best Buy on launch day waiting for better ones to be released. I can say its a really good case, albeit not much drop protection. Love showing the back and sides of the iPhone XS Max that clear cases provide. Thanks for all the reviews here!

How are you liking your Mod? I got one delivered yesterday but I'm going to send it back and get a solidsuit. It's not bad but I can't get over how the sides can still pull away from the phone, I guess that's just a bumper characteristic but I'm a little OCD and want the case to really "grip" the phone tightly.

I requested a refund for a brand new, unused case 5 days ago and have not heard back from them yet. Another person got an actual reply but is being charged $10(!) for return shipping.
I will never buy from them again. If you do buy from them hopefully you like the case because if you don't returning it will be a serious chore.

Quick update on the symmetry, the edges are a bit sharpe, which certainly aides grip, but is a bit uncomfortable. Not sure if this will alter my feeling going forward.

Are these an extreme pain to put on like the crash guard or does the back inset help?
Do you use a 3d screen protector? Trying to see if they work together.
Oh I see. If I try to touch it right there it is sharp. But my hands don’t naturally touch there when I’m holding it.
I finally pull the trigger on an Element Black Ops case. Usually never spend that much on a case but I’ve wanted one for years. It’s heavy and a little bulky but well made. Plus I had a $29.99 off coupon.

I said the same thing to them about a white option! I don't want black or any of their other colors. I had a black one with my black 7+ and loved it.
hey guys. Looking for suggestion for thin but protective with good grip. Got a iCarez screen protector on the phone now. Was thinking Spigen tough armor (like kickstand option!) or Supcase unicorn beetle, or one of the silicone ones. Thoughts? Temporarily using Caseology Legion but it seems pretty heavy?! Thoughts?
Had to use my iPad to take pictures so there not the best.

i am very interested in this case, but wonder if their 6ft drop protection is even to be remotely believed. i'm not an ultra-minimalist case sort of guy, but i don't like to add significant bulk to my phone. in the past i've been happy with things like the Belkin Sheer Grip (iPhone 5) and other TPU style cases for my iPhone 6,7's with no drop rating but some reasonable protection (Luvvitt Clear Grip). i am not very clumsy, but having a special needs kid has meant on average about 1-2 drops a year from chest/waist high.
do you think the Sheath offers similar/more/less protection than the apple cases (leather or silicon), bottom cutout notwithstanding.
i'm sporting a Silk Grip case which is fine and IMHO, more than enough protection, but a little on the bulky side.
