Just preordered my Loopy for XS Max. It’s not shipping til early October, so I’ll pick up something from Amazon to hold me over. It’s gonna be weird to not have a loopy on my phone; I’ve had one on my last three.

I am in the same boat! Ordered a cheap one from Amazon till my Loopy arrives :) Gonna be lost without my loopy!

Does anyone know if Apple changed anything with the rear mic that affected folio cases?

Almost always went naked for most of my iPhones. I carried my iPhone 7 for 2 years with one of these:

I actually went through 2, but the second one was sold to me for $.99 after the first broke. The second finally broke about a month ago. Overall I was pretty happy with it, although it could have been more durable.

That being said, for the price of the iPhone Xs...I think I'm going to have to hold on to it for up to 3 years to justify the price. That means taking better care of it...which means a real case.

I noticed one person mention Loopy Cases. Anyone else have experience with them or similar cases? How do they affect wireless charging? (…which will also need to get to charge my Xs, wife's Xr, & her Apple Watch.)

I’ve had several loopy cases. They are excellent. I ditched them last year though because as much as they want you to believe...wireless charging does not work well with the loop.
[doublepost=1536963546][/doublepost]I really like the Incipio Dual Pro that I have on my X. It has taken many drops. (thanks toddler daughter)

I said this in another thread recently but it is easy to take off and put on. Allowing me to use the phone naked when I’m in “safe zones”.

Since I’m going with the max though I’m considering treating the phone more like an iPad and getting a folio case for the stand. That just makes it so bulky though so I’m not 100% sure yet. I also couldn’t use a folio with my car mount. Hmm.

I rock my iPhones naked, but I always purchase an Apple leather case to use when hiking, mountain climbing, and kayaking. I got black to go with my SG Xs Max.

I ended up getting the ringke air. It is on Amazon. I had this case on my X and loved it. It is thin and has drop protection. I have dropped my phone a few times with no problems.

Caudabe Veil in frost color for my thin days; x-doria Defense in white for the protection days. ipX Max. Both of these cases delayed until end of month though.

I want a nice, thin bumper (no back) like Apple made for the 4 and 5 series. I found one on Amazon I’ll give a try. I don’t like the RhinoShield - unless they have changed designs I found them way too big.

Only one case worth talking about right now.

Forest Green Leather by Apple.

So ridiculously on trend.

until you've had it for a month or two and it looks all nasty gross and disgusting like apple leather tends to do.....

Had my black all last year still looks great, might just be that one though

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
