So I ordered this case, thanks for the link, but I think for the first time I'm going to go naked, and see how long I can go, I am in the IUP so I always pay for applecare but never use it. So I might just have to use it this time.

I always stuck with the Apple leather cases but have decided to give the silicone ones a try.

Going with Apple blue horizon silicon case.

I greatly prefer the Silicone Case when they are new. They look and feel amazing.

But they wear out very quickly, with sides chipping off and potentially scratching the device instead of protecting it. I had 3 and every single one of them wore out significantly in 6 months time.

I’m not getting a XS.. at least not for now, but I just have to say that this new case by apple is STUNNING!! I love the color, i always wanted a case like this since samsung made the orchid grey phone. But I wish it was in leather as well

I ordered the Apple leather case in black for my Xs Max. it says Wednesday 9/19 delivery. It'll be waiting for my phone delivery on 9/21. Cant wait!

I was going to get the leather folio for the Max (probably black) from Apple, but at $129 I just couldn't do it. Instead I've decided to just go case-less as usual and am spending the would be case money on Applecare. So I guess Applecare+ is my case. Lol.

I still can't find a case I'd be happy with. I ordered a slim one from totalee but then realized the camera would still be protruding and not be evened out.

Yes my blue leather for my X looks well filthy.

I do like that green.... just now sure how it will wear... it's just light enough that i think it will end up like my pink looking nasty (like it's dirty).

UGH... well that's disappointing...

so it's either leather in black or brown (because IMO none of the other colors age well and just look nasty and dirty over time from the natural wear of the leather)

or it's silicon that you can wash and keep cleaner, but it falls apart and chips...

UGH..... ya.... I don't think the green is going to work cuz it will show the wear even worse than blue.... (now picture that on the pink fuschia.... that's how my current leather case is.. all that dark "dirty" looking stuff on the edges....)

I knew I was going to get an XS so I ordered a Loopy case. It’s been waiting here for a month ...
I got an email saying they were working on cases for XS MAX and XR.
I don’t really care for wireless charging so it’s not a problem.

It's adds bulk on left side when open and bizarrely has no magnets to hold flap shut? Your not missing anything.

I've been using the Grip, great case but after 10 months the rubber ribs started coming loose.

I am simple, I just like the matte black case. No fingerprints. I have dropped phones a couple times and it does alright, but not the best when it comes to protection. I just don't like placing a glass phone on any normal surface.
