Still will wait until I see it in Best Buy before purchasing.
IMO just is a better case. The SlipperySuit feels like a cheap $3.00 plastic case from Dollar Tree. I’ve never been in a Dollar Tree so take that with a grain of salt.
Hard plastic sides and back of the SS just don’t thrill me. At least the Symmetry has soft rubber sides and only a hard back.
I think the mod has the option of a backplate to make a case. Where they crash guard is just the bumper. I think

That’s right. The mod let’s you make it a bumper or add the back plate to make it a case. You can also add colors to the rim when in bumper mode and they have all kinda back plates for case mode.

Maaaaaan!! My blood pressure was through the roof!! But we came through in the 4th!! Proud of of them. I was jumping around and screaming in the house. Hopefully the neighbors didn’t get worried.

I’ve never been a wallet case kind of guy as most are the 2 card deal tacked on to the back or a folio. Berkley actually has one that isn’t a folio and holds a fairly good amount of stuff. I’m kinda interested. I HATE having
to open a flap to get to my screen every time i want to use my phone.

I would love to hear what you think about that case! Your opinions are always very clear.
My last Caudabe case was the Sheath for an iPhone 7+. I thought the fit and finish were amazing for such a minimalist case.
To be honest, I was a little disappointed when I recieved the Synthesis for my XS. It’s not a bad case at all, but it just didn’t wow me like the Sheath for my 7+.
One minor detail that kind of bothers me is the symmetrical speaker cutouts that don’t match the asymmetrical speaker design of the phone. I know the reason why the case went to early production like that, but it makes me feel like I’m using an old iPhone X case.
The back of the case appears to be flush with the camera bump. There are small bumps on the 4 corners of the rear of the case that keep the camera raised off of flat surfaces.
The case material is moderately flexible, so if you pull at the edges there is some give. Doesn’t bother me, but I can see it bugging someone who really cares.
I don’t have a caliper to measure the case. In hand it feels comparable to the Apple silicone case.
I was thinking of returning the case and emailed Caudabe with my complaint about the speaker cutout. They didn’t reply back, so I’ll probably just keep it.
Like I said... not a bad case, but nothing too special either.
So I need a case for my xs. I need it at first for adding grip. I think the xs is not that slippery as the 7 was, but I‘m always afraid of invoking control center because I have to move my hand a little bit. I‘m always scared it slips out of my hand and gets totally broken.
The thing here is, the case must be one of this ultra slim cases. Is there something for me that isnt bulky or even ultraslim and has a layer with grip enhancement on it? A very „sticky“ rubber for example.

The Apple cases not being symmetrical has not bothered me in the past. But it’s kind of a weird look. I’m back in the solid suit. It’s so....solid lol. Feels great on the phone. Not too bulky not too thin. Y’all already know my love affair with the buttons. Red buttons come tomorrow. It’s just so clean. I can’t see any marks or fingerprints or anything unless I put my nose on it. Great case.
I would take advantage of this deal but I'm out of case money for a while.
